could not go to egypt on visa on arrival with my b1/b2 because it wasn’t stamped and decided to go to jordan instead before and it became the best detour of my 20s. mimicking life itself - learnt to let go control, live in the moment and embrace what life throws and had more fun than my initially very well planned trip. did a road trip across the entire country in four days. followed the kings way, retraced history. lived across the ancient mosaic map in madaba, ate and drank overlooking the jordanian grand canyon, visited the crusader castles, walked the cave halls of petra, slept in a cave under the stars and ate food cooked off fire and sun in wadi rum, swam the dead sea and slathered mud on my body. immensely grateful to what brought me here. have never been happier, kinder, more loved, more myself. shukraan.
