In my statement today before the United Nations Security Council, I emphasized the urgent need for a genuine international partnership that places human dignity at the core of its priorities, contributes to saving lives, and supports stability. I sought to convey the harsh reality endured by my people as a result of the coup carried out by the Houthi terrorist militia, and the compounding crises it has caused—crises that strike at the very essence of life and fundamental human rights.
