Is there a plan? Did Ryan Cohen really have no plan to help the stock price leading up to the vote for his potentially massive compensation package? I think that’s…unlikely. But the stock is pinned on no volume, via all the hedging mechanisms he’s created, including M&A arbitrage due to the pursuit of eBay, which will be stuck in limbo for months at a minimum. Pretty risky to send the stock into a purgatory chop zone low volume hell when you’re asking shareholders for 171M shares worth of cheap no risk options and a partial dilution (albeit accretive) to acquire eBay. Something either doesn’t make sense here or we’re on the precipice of something that is about to change the situation. Otherwise it may be dicey for him, despite what is posted all over Reddit and X. To wit, he’s hired a solicitation agency. But outreach won’t work if people aren’t feeling generous, don’t feel like there’s a plan that will increase share price relatively quickly. If the eBay deal takes a year to happen, share price could be pinned for that entire time. How does that sound? Some won’t mind, but to others it’s unacceptable. What’s the plan? We’ll see what happens…⏳

😼🔮💵📈 $GME “Now it's all about the transformation and that cash pile is growing, it seems to be growing, will they raise more money? We'll see, I don't know - I see it. But...if people, if you just change one factor and that's that you don't think Ryan Cohen is a doofus, alright? If you don't think he's a doofus and he's not a fool, if you don't think that - and all of a sudden, suddenly they're sitting on billions of dollars in cash, and you actually think not only is he not a doofus but - he's extremely talented in that he has the capability to turn this around, even if you don't agree with that, even if you don't believe it, that's fine, if you just pause for a moment and think about that - I think it really changes your mindset so that becomes the bet - that becomes the bet.”

How does the Fed fight inflation? It raises rates. When the cost to borrow is 500% higher than it was 5 years ago it causes banks and hedge funds to exit investments that no longer provide a return given the new costs to borrow. There’s a lot of 5 year paper that’s coming due this year that was being loaned at 1-2%. Those loans get cancelled and the investments, derivatives 😉, etc they were funding on margin get sold off. This causes liquidity to leave the system. Watch this video by Cem Karsan 🥐 who explains it perfectly
