Dear LIVELY “Gbogbo wa la máa jẹ breakfast.” MR Lively, so after deleting the post, you came back with a whole press conference to explain why you deleted it? 😂 You say you deleted it “out of respect,” yet in the very next breath you still argue that anyone who supports this government and later needs help has “only themselves to blame.” My brother, that is exactly the problem people were calling out. You cannot say: «“I would never disrespect the legend…”» …and then effectively add: «“…but if his political choices contributed to his predicament, na him sabi.”» Pick a lane. 😂 And please spare us the “APC urchins cannot intimidate me, I have only just started” action-movie trailer. Nobody is intimidating you. People simply challenged your argument. Being “more vocal and vocal” doesn't automatically make an argument more intelligent. Volume is not evidence. Nigeria's healthcare system absolutely deserves scrutiny. We can debate oncology capacity, health insurance, cancer screening, radiotherapy, specialist shortages, palliative care and government spending all day. But cancer is where partisan triumphalism should stop. Democrats get cancer. Republicans get cancer. APC supporters get cancer. Obidients get cancer. People who have never voted in their lives get cancer. And since we're talking about consequences, preventive healthcare is everybody's responsibility too. Instead of checking another man's voting history when illness comes, Nigerians should also be asking when they last had a physical, checked their blood pressure and blood sugar, discussed family history with a doctor, and obtained age-appropriate cancer screening. So yes, MC Lively, criticize Tinubu until your microphone develops hypertension. 😂 Criticize the health system. Criticize policy. Criticize budgets. But once your argument becomes “if you supported this government and later need help, blame yourself,” don't act surprised when people point out how cruel that logic becomes when attached to a seriously ill person. And since we're discussing the legendary Ogogo, let me borrow the spirit of that famous line: “Gbogbo wa la máa jẹ breakfast.” 😂 Today you're healthy enough to tweet politics. Tomorrow life may remind you that breakfast has no party membership card. So debate governance vigorously. But show some humility before life itself.
