I love the NIT. Yes this is a quadruple ball screen.

Hear me out ... I think there's a new way to counter a defense that's fronting the post: Basketball evolution? 🐅

You can create a double gap out of Flex if you reject it high into a Zoom.

Giving your teammate space to get through zoom action leaves you very susceptible to a fade screen.

Playing get game spain out of a hook screen is a nasty middle 1/3 action.

A 5:00 minute video of one cool play from every team that played basketball during Day 1 of March Madness:

Baiting the guard to guard switch in Spain action and coming off an exit screen is elite. Duke also ran it earlier this season:

Great option to get downhill ... Come off a ball screen & pitch it into an inverted zoom.

Starting a Mini Series on Quin Snyder's "First Play" ATOs from this Season: Flare into another Flare (slip).

Watch how well St Louis flows out of stalled out possessions & into unpredictable action. Rifle -> Uphill Zoom out of Iso Spacing is elite:

I've always thought this was a plausible solution against the Hedge: Draw the coverage out and come off a RESCREEN.

2 minutes of the best sets from the Final Four:

The best sets from every team in Game 2 of the 1st Round of the EuroLeague playoffs:

For those coming into work with the Monday Blues, here's a 5 minute recap of the best sets ran in Day 4 of March Madness:

Tennessee's offensive rating is 8th in the country (120.5) and their actions are great: 1. Zoom -> Floppy 2. Double -> Rescreen 3. Hawk -> Stampede Curl Zakai Ziegler is a master at coming off pins and setting his guys up at the rim.

Drake off to an 11-0 start to the season due to some great offensive actions: 77 Shallow with Corner Exit Pin -> Peja Horns Elbow -> Peja Slip with Seal

Running peja out of the corner makes it hard for defenders to go from being in help -> getting attached & controlling the switch.

An advantage of running Zoom out of a Double Stagger Twirl is that the screener is already lifted on the wing. This makes it harder for the Tag man to play two between the Roll & the Shake:

Nice to see Chris Finch back at the head of the Wolves bench v Lakers. (Dill & Minott in comments) Actions 1. DHO / Zoom Series (Ran a lot when Divincenzo was on the court) 2. Step Up Series (Primary all night) 3. Double 4. Quick Flare 5. Horns / 77 (With Naz & Gobert)

Often times against Ice coverage it is more valuable to screen with your back and keep your chest squared to the rim. Easier to receive & score in the pocket or when popping:
