Can't get over this entire scene of Rhaenyra arriving at Harrenhal. The gorgeous shots, Caraxes clearly having missed Syrax, Seasmoke circling above Harrenhal to protect the Queen, and Ser Simon already at the gates because he's been waiting for too long to see Daemon and Rhaenyra end their temporary divorce.

This scene feels even more tragic now going into a far darker and bloodier season. This was Viserys' final desperate attempt to reunite his family and preserve peace, and in that moment, he genuinely believed he had succeeded. Yes, he shares part of the blame for the Dance… but what makes this heartbreaking is how he is completely convinced that everything is finally held together, right before it all inevitably falls apart. Paddy Considine sold this scene perfectly, and it's IMO one of the most beautiful and wholesome moments in the entire GOT universe.
