But they'd also see a nation that, at the height of its wealth and power, fell into the very traps they most feared, consumed by bitter conflict between factions captured by special interests. Losing touch with the great national spirit that defeated fascism, with the spirit that landed men on the moon and passed civil rights laws.

Ossoff: About Natalie Harp, these White House staffers are adults, public officials paid by the taxpayer with immense power in positions of public trust. Ossoff: I am hearing from Republicans who come up to me on the street, or they approach me at the airport, or maybe they have my number and they give me a call, and they're telling me that they are voting for a Democrat for the first time this year because they've just had enough. The abuses of power, the blatant self-enrichment and corruption, while the American people face all-time high prices for rent and groceries and a meal out at a restaurant and the power bill — the people have had enough. And I believe that a mighty wave is building to rebuke these abuses of power and to restore checks and balances.

Ossoff: Tonight, I heard a failed president desperately casting about for excuses to meddle in the upcoming election, if he can, or to discredit the result when he loses decisively, as I expect he will. I heard a president who, as his war spirals and as prices keep climbing for families across the country, is, as always, focused on his personal grievances, focused on his personal shame and humiliation, and above all, focused on his personal fear of the accountability that will come when we win this fall. And the conservative paper, the Washington Examiner, was writing that this actually gave Donald Trump cover to avoid having to address Mike Collins' scandals — because we've learned in recent weeks that Mike Collins' office was briefing Nick Fuentes and other prominent white supremacists on its efforts on behalf of a prominent Holocaust denier, and that Mike Collins has had a neo-Nazi propagandist based on his property.
