Or Pete Hegseth before the Senate this week, refusing to recant his lies about the war. And there’s something uniquely despicable about lying a nation into war. Treating citizens as fools, and the selfless patriots who serve as pawns.

Ossoff: We've got Americans coming back from overseas in flag-draped coffins. In the last two weeks, nearly 100 wounded in action, at least four killed in action, in a war that they lied us into. They told us there was an imminent nuclear threat, a year after they told us they'd obliterated the threat. They told us in the second week they'd already destroyed the enemy. They told us over and over and over again that they'd won. That they were about to win…They keep telling us it's going to last just a couple more days, just a couple more weeks. And all of this incompetence is costing lives, and it's costing families across the country economically who are dealing with these out-of-control tariffs, who are dealing with gas prices.

And the very next month, Eric and Don Jr. get a stake in the American company pursuing the mining deal. Six days later, six days after Prince Eric and Prince Don get their stake, Kazakhstan announces this company will get, “The largest known undeveloped tungsten resource in the world.” A few more weeks go by, and then the U.S. government, run by their father, sets aside 1.6 billion of your tax dollars to fund and finance their mining project. Ossoff: Just think, 250 years on, what the founders would see if they visited us today. But wait, they would see that slavery had been abolished. They would see that Americans without land, and then women, and then the descendants of slaves had secured voting rights. They would see that our science and discovery propelled human knowledge to unimaginable heights and that those thirteen colonies had grown into a superpower that defeated the Nazis and Communism. Ossoff: Mike Collins was not present for the president's rally in Georgia today. And the conservative paper, the Washington Examiner, was writing that this actually gave Donald Trump cover to avoid having to address Mike Collins' scandals — because we've learned in recent weeks that Mike Collins' office was briefing Nick Fuentes and other prominent white supremacists on its efforts on behalf of a prominent Holocaust denier, and that Mike Collins has had a neo-Nazi propagandist based on his property. Ossoff: Tonight, I heard a failed president desperately casting about for excuses to meddle in the upcoming election, if he can, or to discredit the result when he loses decisively, as I expect he will. I heard a president who, as his war spirals and as prices keep climbing for families across the country, is, as always, focused on his personal grievances, focused on his personal shame and humiliation, and above all, focused on his personal fear of the accountability that will come when we win this fall. But this is important, folks, and I want you to hear me out when I say this, because I also heard a president clearly signaling his intent to attack these elections and to undermine voting rights.

Ossoff: I am hearing from Republicans who come up to me on the street, or they approach me at the airport, or maybe they have my number and they give me a call, and they're telling me that they are voting for a Democrat for the first time this year because they've just had enough. The abuses of power, the blatant self-enrichment and corruption, while the American people face all-time high prices for rent and groceries and a meal out at a restaurant and the power bill — the people have had enough. And I believe that a mighty wave is building to rebuke these abuses of power and to restore checks and balances.

Ossoff: There's talk that he might try to declare me and Raphael Warnock illegitimate senators. Obviously, the President has no power to do that, but he does have the power to try to intimidate people. He's demonstrated his will to abuse power. I expect him to use whatever he puts out there on Thursday as a pretext, either for some attempted unconstitutional use of federal power to interfere in the election, or to give his proxies and loyalists in state and local jurisdictions some cover for whatever they might attempt, or to lay the groundwork for challenging the result. And the bottom line is that this is a real and live threat to voting rights in the United States right now.

Ossoff: There's a reason that a number of prominent conservatives in Georgia are either backing me or saying they just can't bring themselves to vote for Mike Collins. It's because he is a bigot and an antisemite. He's engaged in the vicious antisemitic harassment of a Jewish reporter and still refuses to apologize for it. He praised young men who were taunting a Black woman on a college campus with monkey noises. His Chief of Staff was recently revealed to have been working with a white nationalist to try to get a Holocaust denier freed from prison. Mike Collins is currently under federal investigation for the illegal misuse of tax dollars, and all the while, he has been pro-war, pro-tariff, pro-cutting your health care.
