.Elon Musk is worth half a trillion dollars and owns no vacation homes, one medium sized house and a small house at Starbase, TX that he bought for $50,000. When asked what he wants to do with his money, all he thinks about is sustainable abundance and scaling the scope of human consciousness and exploring other stars. That is a CEO and leader I would want all my money with.

Stanley Druckenmiller Stan Druckenmiller on contrarian trading and investing being overrated. “Contrarian investing is way overrated. It is intellectual cool to not be with the crowd but the crowd makes money 80% of the time. They kill themselves at the turns and losing as much as they would make 80% of the time. But I have found contrarian thinking just to be contrarian can be a death trap in particular with bonds and currencies because economic fundamentals is what they are. It can be a rough ride of it is crowded.”

STAN DRUCKENMILLER Stan Druckenmiller from 2022: “I will say this, it’s conventional wisdom, which I agree with, that stocks go up over the long-term. Okay, the problem is we’ve become a little complacent about what does long-term mean. If you bought the DOW in 1929, you got back to even in 1954. As you just pointed out, the DOW was in 1966 where it was in 1982.” When you buy matters. This is called sequence of returns.

Two years ago I was benching the 160-175 range. Today I just hit 290 for 1 rep - a new personal record. Tried 300, which almost came up, but failed. Good nutrition, sleeping and lifting habits, consistency and showing up when I didn’t want to was key as it is for anything.

Hear Stanley Druckenmiller Stan Druckenmiller describe what he would look for when hiring a money manager. “If I was hiring a money manager, the first thing I would look for is if all I heard was they never made a mistake and they’re telling me about all their wins, that is a big red flag. The great money managers I’ve met they generally don’t tell you about their wins , they tell you about a lot of their losses” “I would definitely look for discipline. The first thing when I look at the records, I would go to the bear market periods and see how they did in those and the quality of the records. But you can learn a ton from the record on how they did in certain years and when you see an outlier, you ask them. There will always be one or two inconsistencies in there”

Stanley Druckenmiller Stan Druckenmiller on his $TEVA trade which made him ~100% in the last 7 months, what he saw and his thesis. The last sentence after sharing his trade is gold: “If you look at today, you are not gonna make any money. If you try and look ahead and what might change and how investors might perceive ahead. This one happened quicker than I thought.”
