They can sing, dance, they’re beautiful, and they’ve always been great on variety shows too. During my career, there are naturally fans I remember. People who support me, encourage me, and do kind things leave an impression on me. During live broadcasts, out of gratitude, I might say things like, “Oh, I heard you had a baby,” or “I heard this happened to you.” It’s a very normal way of communicating with fans. But after seeing that, it seems someone became jealous or developed some other kind of negative feeling. When I hear stories from these fans, I always think that if we all love Leeteuk together, shouldn’t we be able to enjoy that together and talk about positive things? Instead, it feels like, “Only I can love you, and I don’t want anyone else to.” Or even, “If I can’t have you, then neither can anyone else.” They engage in what is essentially cyberbullying, leaving hurtful comments and causing a lot of distress. It doesn’t seem to be directed at just one person either. They appear to target different fans who support and care about me, one after another. I’m not completely sure who it is, but I do have some guesses. I sincerely hope they stop. Wouldn’t it be much better if fans could simply enjoy their time together? I genuinely don’t understand why they do this. What are they hoping to achieve? Do they want me to fail? Or is it jealousy, like, “I don’t even like him, but why does Leeteuk remember you?” Honestly, I don’t know the exact reason.

🦚: I talked about this on my live earlier, and I don’t know if it’ll be clipped or not, but I honestly thought fans didn’t really enjoy seeing me on music shows. To be honest, I never liked them that much either. Ever since the Twins, Miracle, and U days, I always remembered fans lining up early in the freezing cold for Music Bank, M Countdown, Music Core, and Inkigayo. They’d come while half asleep, and some even had to head straight to school in their uniforms afterward. I still remember all of that. That’s why I thought music shows weren’t really necessary. As long as we could perform at concerts, fan-cons, and hold fan sign events, I felt that was enough, which is why I focused more on those activities. But Leeteuk told me, “Heechul, fans actually like music shows too.” I replied, “But they spend their valuable time trying to get tickets, then wait for hours just to see us perform for three to six minutes. I don’t know if that’s worth it, and I kept wondering if it was right to put them through that.” But since you all enjoy seeing us on music shows, we talked about it and decided to arrange whatever schedules we could as quickly as possible. Even though it may look like I’m producing everything for 83z, Leeteuk is actually handling so many things behind the scenes that I don’t even know about. In the end, we’re doing what our fans want.

During our world tour, tickets were almost completely sold out, to the point that we turned two shows into three, and three into four. For this concert as well, we performed three shows instead of two, and they sold out again. As you can see, preparing a 360° stage required a lot of difficult work. Honestly, I felt like I was going to spin 360° myself from how much work there was, but I’m really happy that we were able to show a new side of Super Junior while celebrating our 20th anniversary. If our previous Super Shows showcased our 20-year history, then this Encore concert is like a preview of the next 20 years of Super Junior. That’s why we introduced the vampire concept and new looks for the members—to show you that we won’t get tired, won’t age, and won’t change no matter how much time passes, and that we will always stay by your side. Some of you have loved us from the very beginning, and some joined along the way, but we will always stay right here, quietly doing our best.
