There is always more to a person than the version we know publicly. This week on #YourStory, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi takes us beyond the politics and public persona — back to where it all began, the experiences that shaped him, the choices that changed his life, and who he is today. An insightful, honest conversation with one of South Africa’s most recognisable voices. #947DriveWithThando

Show me a better way to spend Youth Day, than with a trailblazing hero who broke down all walls, created spaces that didn’t exist and allowed for uncomfortable conversations in post-apartheid South Africa other than the incomparable @feliciamabuzasuttle …she walked so we could run, the first black South African woman I ever saw on TV… a woman who showed me what was possible…full episode coming in #YOURSTORY 947 947drivethando 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

She’s given us unforgettable characters, but some of Rami Chuene’s most important work has happened when the cameras stop rolling. A fearless voice and advocate for actors, she has never been afraid to challenge the industry, speak up for artists and stand firmly in what she believes. From Seshego to three decades on our screens — Rami Chuene is this week’s #YourStory guest. ❤️

Got to sit down with the incredible Lorcia today. My first time meeting this amazing human was while shooting a little show called Housekeepers… they say never meet your heroes but my Lorcia is one of the most amazing humans you may ever have the privilege of crossing paths with. Thank you for sharing your life story with us, for sharing your LIFE with us and doing it with such grace and warmth. Thank you for paving the way, and holding our hands as we too try to carve a way. I love you big

Some people are woven into the soundtrack of your childhood. Zola 7 was one of those people for me. Growing up, I watched him inspire hope, give people a voice, and remind South Africans of the power of community. That impact never left me. Grateful for this conversation, and I can’t wait for you to watch it. #YourStory #947DriveWithThando
