John Pelletier, the Maui Police Chief who oversaw the response that left people trapped in the Lahaina fire, has been identified as a co-conspirator in the Diddy case. He previously acted as Incident Commander for the Las Vegas shooting. A lawsuit claims he used a fake warrant to forcibly take a Diddy victim at gunpoint from Las Vegas to California for an assault. Even after these accusations surfaced, he was appointed Maui’s police chief, and the catastrophic fires followed soon after. Concerns have also been raised about children and entire families vanishing after the fires, though the government rejects these reports and they have not been confirmed.
