The storm hyped as one of Louisville’s biggest ever will end up being only the second largest snowstorm we’ve had…in the past year As of this morning, even with the storm not over, updated projections indicate that this storm won’t top the 9 inches we got in January of 2025. Snow, sleet, soda etc. Whatever it was, it didn’t pile up. Roads are still terrible and the freezing temps are gonna make this linger for a while. Far from a nothing burger, but once again it was wildly overestimated. “Well, it all depends on the sleet line.” If we got a foot of snow? “Told you so.” If we didn’t? “Like I’ve been saying all week… it was all dependent on the sleet line.” It’s the perfect way to never technically be wrong. With that said, I don’t think most meteorologists are out here intentionally trying to dramatize forecasts or scare people. Like a lot of things, weather is just incredibly difficult to predict. But for some reason, in that industry, it feels like simply admitting “only time will tell” or “it’s too tough to tell” isn’t allowed.

Are we starting to see the projections for snow totals in Louisville dropping? Maybe substantialy? Sleet line?

Another great day at the Miracle League with my favorite player. The happiest moment you’ll see from Mya is when she’s running to first base and spots all the friends and family who came to watch her play.

The program's lone mouthpiece says they're pumping in crowd noise at practice to get ready for a....home game The official program account promotes a red-out as BBN is set to invade & outnumber UofL fans. Is there anyone in charge that cares enough to stop the embarrassment?

Pat Kelsey is on FIRE! Results are all that really matters, but you only get a chance to deliver those four months out of the year. A big part of the Louisville job is giving the fanbase something to be genuinely excited about in the offseason. He’s checked that box for sure.

Louisville’s match-up with Michigan State will be their 4th NCAA Tournament meeting with Sparty in the last 20 years. That ties Duke-Michigan State and Kansas-North Carolina for the most in that span. Days like today make me miss VillenHD.

The I-65 shutdown has given Louisville’s most feared landmark a chance to remind everybody who really runs this town: The Can Opener. A listener has generated a tribute song for the undefeated champ — “Let The Big Dog Eat.”

People from the South end of Louisville absolutely love that they're from the South end of Louisville. It's a beautiful thing that I'm jealous of. Coffey & Company is live on News Radio 840 WHAS. Join us… or don’t, and miss out on all the nonsense.

I found a BJ Flynn mixtape on Tiktok and I’m embarrassed to say it’s the best thing that I’ve ever experienced. Also, the TikTok sauce is clearly a real security threat. Its algorithm knows what I need better than I do.

It’s telling that the police chief has to remind parents they’re responsible for the kids they bring into this world. LMPD isn’t a babysitting service. Until parents do better, youth violence in Louisville won’t get better either.
