An Azov fighter was left alone at his position and single-handedly fought off a Russian attack. Video transcription: “I started firing back and realized that I was the only one firing from the position. But then, after I had gone through all the positions, I realized that I couldn’t do it alone. So I picked three firing positions in the trench where I could operate and placed rifles at each of them. I would simply run in with loaded magazines, insert one, fire through two or three magazines, and then change positions. I switched from single shots to bursts and started firing burst after burst, magazine after magazine. The mortars were firing, the AGS was firing, and a tank rolled out on the right. Anyway, I could hear the MLRS launching. I thought, well, they must be hitting somewhere in the rear, probably the evacuation groups. Then the first Grad rocket exploded about 60 meters from the position I was in at the time. And I realized that the Grads would start landing closer and closer. I just dropped down in the trench and curled up, and the next one exploded somewhere about five meters away. That feeling… it felt like all the air had been sucked out of my lungs. Phew! It was quite a crazy situation back then. I remember something… well, there’s nothing to tell the kids.” The fighter was buried under earth from the explosion, but fortunately help arrived and dug him out — which is what we see at the beginning of the video.

In April 2025, on the Kupiansk front, an M1224 MaxxPro armored vehicle used by a special unit of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR MO) was hit by a Russian FPV drone. After the strike, the specialist inspected the vehicle and assessed the damage. Once he confirmed that the engine was still running, he got behind the wheel — and the MaxxPro drove out of the combat zone under its own power, despite the damage and a blown tire.
