Volume warning: Someone said something about refueling on NVGs, here is another video I shot of our CH-53Es refueling off the African coast. This time from the POV of the C-130s we get fuel from. A few things to point out: the flash of light you see when they connect is static electricity. The helicopters make a shit ton of it. You can also see the engines working harder as they lift up once they are plugged in. This was under a moonless night, with basically no cultural lighting. This is literally by starlight only. So the night vision goggles are working extremely hard here.
