UCLA medical team handing out needles and drug pipes to addicts at Wilshire & Westgate Wednesday December 10, 2025 at 3 PM. Loaded up their van with 3 - 4 addicts and dealers, then dropped them off in Santa Monica's Tongva Park, between City Hall and the Santa Monica Pier.

Santa Monica's Jennifer Rush, highly respected Owner of Blue Plate Restaurant Group, explains why the restaurants, hotels, hospitality and retailers suffer from declining business, and no longer see many tourists. Residents see the danger and unsafe conditions on the sidewalks and walkways and stay away, but our Mayor and City Council ignore it, and even tolerate open air needle and meth pipe handouts by Barbara Ferrer and The Venice Family Clinic. Santa Monica Mayor Lana Negrete and her City Council's answer is to immediately transform the 3rd Street Promenade and thereafter, adjacent alleyways and streets, into an "Enterprise Zone" that allows for open consumption of alcohol OUTSIDE of restaurants and patio dining areas, from 8 AM to 2 AM daily. Santa Monica by design, has a shortage of Police and Police "presence." Assaults, drug overdoses, drug dealing, theft and disruption are no longer random occurrences in Santa Monica. They are normal and occur every day. This problem can NOT be solved by creating another.

This woman stepped on a discarded needle precisely matching those distributed by the Venice Family Clinic (CEO is Dr. Mitesh Popat). This action violates Santa Monica's law that restricts any nonprofit or recipient of city grant money from distributing crack pipes and needles. Special thanks to Mayor Caroline Torosis, City Manager Oliver Chi, City Attorney Heidi von Tongein, the entire City Council, and Heal The Bay CEO Tracy Quinn. They ignore residents and tourists on this issue for political and financial reasons. And LA County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath promotes the distribution of crack pipes and needles in our parks and public spaces.

🚨🔥 BOYLE HEIGHTS FIRE: FOLLOW THE MONEY 💰 A single warehouse fire burned for 8 days in Boyle Heights / East LA. The building owner, Lineage, pledged $2 million in relief to the California Community Foundation (Cal Fund) instead of giving it directly to residents. Cal Fund, a nonprofit with $2.3 billion in assets, helped manage and distribute funds following the Palisades and Altadena Fires. You'd be surprised who sits on Cal Fund's Board of Directors. Here's where the connections begin. Cal Fund announced $15 million in grants to LA4LA, a housing initiative launched by Mayor Karen Bass. Those overlapping relationships---private donations, fire relief funds, nonprofit grants, and City Hall---raise questions about transparency, oversight, and potential conflicts of interest. Also according to campaign finance records, the Logistics warehouse tenant, and possibly partial property owner, is a major donor to Mayor Karen Bass's campaign.
