#Keralam: Dr Shirin Subair, a bride pursuing an MD in Emergency Medicine, stepped away from her wedding celebrations in Kannur to provide first aid to two catering workers who fell ill during the function. Shirin, a native of Panoor, was attending her wedding to Dr Rijaz when she was alerted that one worker had a nosebleed and another was feeling dizzy and fainted. She immediately provided first aid and advised that they be taken to hospital if required. A video of the incident later went viral on social media. Shirin said she had not noticed that the incident was being recorded. She is currently pursuing her first-year MD in Emergency Medicine at Valluvanad Hospital, Ottapalam.

BJP MLA Yatnal was one of the chief guests during the inaugural ceremony of Allama Prabhu Temple at Terdal town at Bagalkot on 11 November. While addressing the gathering, Yatnal mentioned the ongoing Waqf land row. Taking exception over dragging Waqf land row in a religious event, people ordered him not to drag Waqf issue and politicise the event. People reportedly highlighted that #Muslims have donated Rs 6 lakh for the construction of the Allama Prabhu temple at Terdal. Following the objections, Yatnal walked out from the stage.

#Belagavi: Bus Conductor Attacked for Asking Passenger to Speak in Kannada A group of Marathi youth allegedly assaulted bus conductor Mahadev near Sulebhavi-Balekundri villages in Belagavi taluk on Friday after he requested a passenger to speak in Kannada. The clash erupted when a young woman asked for two tickets in Marathi, and the conductor replied that he didn’t understand the language, asking her to speak in #Kannada.
