'I Can See For Miles' was originally written in 1966, Pete Townshend was excited about this demo so much and saw it as a smash hit. The band released other singles in the meantime and held onto the track until 1967, where the single became The Who's highest chart in the US to date. Check it out on The Who's breakthroughs here:
