Gotta say they the years I’ve been covering CFB I wouldn’t disagree with the list. The order of it? Maybe but it’s negligible imo. Husky Stadium is probably the most underrated, and Autzen in Eugene while smaller in stadium capacity is as loud as any I’ve been in.

This may have been my BEST ball striking day of golf ever! I simply couldn’t make anything. 2 lip outs from inside 10 feet and nothing made inside 20 feet and I hit a ton of greens in regulation. Still, a 76 is the 2nd best score I’ve ever had, and to do it without a birdie 🤷♂️🤦♂️kinda crazy. I love golf with my friends at home, and with guys that wanna play against the course and challenge themselves while having fun⛳️😎

Gotta say thank you to all the Volunteers and My Host Driver Todd who’ll be picking me up in the wee hours son can get home in the morning. Once again Larry The Cable Guy killed it with his 17th Annual ⛳️Classic. Today was a GR8 day in Lincoln Nebraska. The people here are tremendous.

It was wet and soggy when we tee’d off this morning. Humid and 🥵 when we finished, but after 12 plus days away it was great to be back out Southern Trace CC and birdies always help! On 14 the par 5 after catching a bomb 💣 off the tee I caught D-O-D off the deck.1 of 79 strikes⛳️

Leaving Lubbock this morning I’d like to echo Kirk Herbstreit who said on a podcast somewhere this week, “if ya really wanna enjoy a great College Football weekend where the real joy of the college experience is taking place go to Lubbock.” We went twice this season. On the very next tee I had 190 and went with the 4hybrid and it wasn’t pure but it stayed straight and climbed to the green for another GIR. All in all a really good day. A few loose tee shot on the back for 38-42 and a solid 80.The goal is always breaking 80. Not today but next?

We must never EVER forget John Saunders. His brother Bernie called me at this hour 9 yrs.ago and I’ve not stopped mourning his passing. Remember him! A man’s man, but his vulnerabilities we discussed at times and he later wrote about in a book about Battling Depression. RIP 💜🙏

Coach Nick Saban was formally inducted into the Louisiana Sports HOF it was wonderful to see. He’s said on many occasions, “I should have never left LSU.” Yeah he eventually became the 🐐 Alabama Football but LSU Football’s Golden era began with his 2003 Title.👏
