On the very next tee I had 190 and went with the 4hybrid and it wasn’t pure but it stayed straight and climbed to the green for another GIR. All in all a really good day. A few loose tee shot on the back for 38-42 and a solid 80.The goal is always breaking 80. Not today but next?

Leaving Lubbock this morning I’d like to echo Kirk Herbstreit who said on a podcast somewhere this week, “if ya really wanna enjoy a great College Football weekend where the real joy of the college experience is taking place go to Lubbock.” We went twice this season. We must never EVER forget John Saunders. His brother Bernie called me at this hour 9 yrs.ago and I’ve not stopped mourning his passing. Remember him! A man’s man, but his vulnerabilities we discussed at times and he later wrote about in a book about Battling Depression. RIP 💜🙏

Tomorrow they’re celebrating 🥳in Bristol 45 years with over 400 OLD TIMERS ESPN. These are the folks that built the place. Worked hard, played hard and their professional lives were defined there. In honor of all those that’ll be partying. These 94 seconds sum up my memories💜

I met Dale Weiner when he was an Asst. 35 plus years ago, and I knew then he was a Star. It was inspirational seeing him Last night! Kudos to Sid Edwards Mayor-President for transporting him with help from his aides. Congratulations Coach and to my cousin Greg Brandao the former Headmaster at Catholic of BR I know is proud.
