I’ve never been to a more beautiful Race Track. Santa Anita Park is more than a racetrack; it’s a living piece of history that deserves protection. Its architectural beauty, racing legacy, and cultural significance make it an irreplaceable asset to California. By safeguarding Santa Anita Park, the state not only preserves a piece of its heritage but also ensures that this “Great Race Place” continues to inspire and entertain for generations to come.

A story of survival. One of our seasoned broodmares Inlovewithlove on March 6th faced a severe case of dystocia during foaling, making the delivery exceptionally difficult. When he was finally born, he appeared lifeless. Fortunately, Neil Clark, one of the most remarkable horsemen I’ve ever encountered, was present and detected a faint heartbeat. He immediately began working to revive the foal, using oxygen and every technique he knew for the next 15 to 20 minutes. At times, they questioned whether they would succeed, but miraculously, Neil and Josh managed to bring this Quality Road colt back to life. He spent the next week in the clinic and gradually progressed to the point where he could stand and nurse independently. As you can see, he is now unstoppable just a few weeks later.

Cornucopian is currently sitting at a 108 Equibase speed figure 👀 A big-time colt with several gears. We had to reach for him as a yearling, and thankfully, he's blessed with the talent to match his pedigree. He was bred and raised by great people. Eddie loved Cornucopian in Ocala - *video from March 2024 with TDN rising star 💫 Rodriguez. Clocked 1:09 flat for Bob Baffert today 23.2 last 1/4 mile. Great to have Iradortiz on board today. SF homebred colt Madaket Road, a son of Quality Road, worked solo this morning at Santa Anita. He went a half-mile in 47 flat full of energy for Bob Baffert He is now officially qualified 18th for the 151st Kentucky Derby, which is just 21 days away. He is a talented and progressive colt. He needs to move forward over the next 3 weeks to be effective; thankfully, he’s healthy and happy and has experience under his belt. He will be in barn 33 Churchill Downs we couldn’t be more proud of the great team around these colts. 1/ST TV 🎥

Six minutes with D. Wayne Lukas and his six non-negotiables: a masterclass. Every thoroughbred auction house in North America should have his statue out front; he is responsible for billions in trade.

Unbeaten in 3 starts, 2yo HUGHES made it 20 Grade One Del Mar Futurity victories for Bob Baffert and became the 20th Grade 1-winning Colt for the sensational sire Into Mischief. He pressed a 22.87 / 45.69 / 1:10.00, then was eased late to clock 1:22.57, faster than Nyquist, Lookin At Lucky, and Silver Charm, amongst others, in winning this race. A beautiful, moving colt with the ability to settle between horses and quicken on cue; Juan jose hernandez had a lot of horses crossing the wire, and he galloped out with class. Stretching out on the trip should only play to his strengths. Delighted for Barbara, Sol, Jack, Mrs. Bashor, and the Mastersons, who all made it out to beautiful Del Mar Racetrack , along with their friends and family. Having everyone there after the race made a special day even more memorable. 🚩 Breeders' Cup #FRC

Taj Mahal equals years of planning, investment, and horsemanship. To show up at the Preakness Stakes with a now local horse that was born and raised in Florida, he was originally trained in California and is now making a name for himself in Maryland. It’s incredible to be here with the Russell family and to see Brittany driving the sport forward and putting women right at the center of big-race days. A lot of people played a role in getting us here today, and for that we are thankful. Let’s all have some fun. Brittany Trimble Russell NBC Sports

I absolutely love this sport. Watching National Treasure fight the entire length of the Pilmico stretch and keep finding was epic. It was only his 6th-lifetime start. Keeping G1 company in 4 of those six starts. Johnny V John Velazquez showed the world that he's “a boss. “ He rode confidently, and National Treasure was there when he needed his all. Bob and #TeamBaffert had him primed for a big-time effort, and that's what we got. I'm incredibly proud to be involved with this ownership group and can't thank everyone enough for everything that goes into making our classic aspirations a reality. ❤️❤️Preakness Stakes Bob Baffert Caroline Wilson Samantha Cripps NBC Sports Camera 📷 Evers

Top Jockeys, Top Horses. Incredible weather and a crowd that feels like 40,000 plus. Horseracing is loved in California. We just need to find a way to compete with the more cash-rich jurisdictions.

Goal Oriented (Not This Time) was worth the wait TDN Rising Star 💫first time out for Bob Baffert. He’s a big, beautiful, elegant colt with sire power and depth of pedigree. Things didn't go his way early in play; only good horses can get themselves out of trouble and come home like he did. 1/ST TV
