Fire me the F up. Ben Johnson talked about bringing in high IQ Olineman. This is what he is referring to. Having guys who can who can handle protection plans and not asking everything of a 2nd year QB. The complete opposite of what was happening last year. Love this.

Many #Bears offensive players are getting a pass with how the 2024 season went (justifiably), but I feel like Rome Odunze isn't getting that same treatment. 🔷 Rome posted a 78.7% success rate against press coverage per Reception Perception which was 87th percentile and 3rd best only behind Ladd and BTJ among 2nd year receivers 🔷 He had one of the highest uncatchable target % in the NFL per Fantasy Points Data 🔷 Was asked to be in an entirely different role as the de facto WR3 than he was in college. He went from almost exclusively playing on the outside in his last 2 years in college at 82.5% and only 16.6% in the slot. Where as with the Bears playing 64.4% out wide and 35.3% in the slot. I am not entirely sure where Ben Johnson is going to see him in his offense, but I believe he will play integral part as a blocker and in the passing game that focuses on attacking the intermediate parts of the field. I am still buying despite a disappointing statistical profile as a rookie!
