I was AG Paxton’s lawyer during the failed attempt to impeach him. I studied every piece of evidence. I cross examined the key witnesses. It quickly became apparent to me that the entire effort was sloppily thrown together by those he opposed—the old guard, the establishment. Their hope was that with unsupported, salacious allegations, along with a compliant and willing media, Paxton would quit. He would not quit. He will not quit. He will never quit. The totality of the impeachment evidence was nothing more than junk. And it didn’t take much effort to expose it. In the process I came to know Ken Paxton. He is thoughtful, strategic, and brilliant. He will be a damn fine senator for our state. Most of the attacks you see now are being made by the same people he soundly defeated in the impeachment. They lost then, and they will lose again. Go vote.

Pretty surprised Talarico would use Ranger Maxwell in a political ad. In the impeachment trial, Maxwell was thoroughly discredited and made to look like a damn fool in front of millions of viewers.

Senator John Cornyn is the last significant vestige of the old Bush guard in a Texas. He supported the Paxton impeachment. He called for Trump to drop out. He is a member of the disconnected, Washington DC elite. He is an old-school Bushite. It’s finally time for him to go. President Trump can help make that happen. I pray he does so. If so, good riddance.

During the impeachment process, the press did its dead level best to force Attorney General Paxton to quit. Now the powers in Washington are doing the same thing. I expect the same result. Ken Paxton will not quit.

When you make it to the big stage, be ready. Picture the scene. The AG of Texas on trial with twenty articles of impeachment. The entire Texas Senate is seated as the jury. The Lt. Gov. is acting as the judge. This is your time to shine. You’ve got limited time. You can’t get bogged down. This is the “impeachment” team they brought against General Paxton. It. Fell. Flat. Justice prevailed.

Holding someone down and sticking a finger in his anus is not horseplay. It’s not a frivolous matter. It’s not “all in good fun.” It is instead actionable assault. Yesterday, the legal team for Ramon Ayala, Sr. did not deny the alleged conduct but instead attempted to characterize it as “frivolous” and merely “horseplay.” They also attempted to distance Ayala, Sr. from it. My response is here. These band members seek only accountability and responsibility. The case is John Does #’1, 2 & 3 v. Ramon Ayala, et al.

After I had seen all of the evidence I predicted that Attorney General Ken Paxton would prevail in his impeachment trial and would ultimately be the next United States Senator from the great state of Texas. Was I right?

How is it that radical left-wing activists can end up as tenured professors at Texas A&M?? Preventing it is like pushing a large boulder up a steep hill.
