Last night in Kyiv, for the first time, I went down into the subway to shelter. I just got to the city at that time. The platforms were packed - not with commuters, but with families. Kids curled up on the floor with blankets. Parents sitting shoulder to shoulder. Elderly couples holding hands. Strangers sharing chargers, snacks, and quiet conversations. Above us, the city echoed with air defense and explosions. Below, people tried to make a few hours feel safe. At first, it was mostly silence. Then the stories began. A woman told me her husband was on the front line. A teenage boy showed me a photo of his older brother in uniform. Another family spoke about a son who hadn’t come back. These weren’t dramatic conversations. They were calm. Almost routine. Because for Ukrainians, this has become part of life. Standing there, surrounded by hundreds of people who never asked for this war, I didn’t feel fear. I felt responsibility. Responsibility to keep showing up. To keep helping. To keep turning support into real action. Because behind every donation, every delivery, every piece of equipment, there is a family like the ones I met that night. The war doesn’t pause. Kharkiv, as always - moving faster than you can even keep track of what day it is 😅 Landed here and went straight into it: meetings, calls, decisions, logistics, more meetings, more calls… and that constant feeling like time just disappears Time here doesn’t just fly - it kind of stops existing. We got a lot done. And like always, it’s the kind of work that doesn’t really show up nicely in reports. Because it’s not just “delivered” or “handed over”. It’s: 🫠 plans changing five times in one day 👌that “one small thing” that ends up deciding everything ✅ getting it done no matter what, because not finishing isn’t really an option The Liberty Ukraine Foundation 🇺🇸🇺🇦 team is working nonstop. No pauses. No “we’ll get to it after the weekend”. Everything here was due yesterday. And of course - no trip to Kharkiv without the 72nd Brigade 💙 As always - strong, sharp, and our people.

The frontline doesn’t pause for negotiations, headlines, or percentages. So our Liberty Ukraine Foundation 🇺🇸🇺🇦 keeps moving. We keep delivering. Since the massive attack last Thursday, Kyiv has been struggling with constant power, water and heat outages, and our rescue teams have been working 24/7 nonstop ever since. And just when we thought we had mastered life in “survival mode,” russia decided to attack critical infrastructure again last night - leaving millions of people without power, water, and heat. Oh, and just for extra vibes - it’s -15°C (5°F) outside 🥶❄️. Because why not. But guess what - our team is still working. Because war doesn’t wait for electricity. Today’s highlights: ✅ More winter jackets arrived - packed, sorted, and shipped to the front lines ✅ Car broke down - fixed it (because of course it did) ✅ Humanitarian mission mode - still ON Busy day. Productive day. Slightly frozen, but undefeated. Breakfast at 2pm …at least I ate )) Tomorrow I’m heading to Kharkiv - to deliver more aid, spend time with our team at the base, and keep doing what we do best - showing up, no matter the conditions. And the cherry on top - climbing stairs to the 20th floor. To call this a “workout” would be an understatement. This is Ironman-level training. Thank you to everyone who supports us, believes in this mission, and helps make these “impossible” days possible.
