Siena head coach Gerry McNamara spent a few years with Duke's Maliq Brown at Syracuse. McNamara said Jon Scheyer called him multiple times to inquire about Brown when he entered the portal in 2024. "The third time Jon called me (at Duke) I answered the phone and I said stop calling me. Take him, he's really good."

Late night leaving Xfinity Mobile Arena when I saw two Canes fans wiping off their car. A father and son from Raleigh came out to mustard and more on their vehicle after Carolina’s Game 3 win. He says it was all worth it. 😅 “I need more mustard and more wins.” #SoundTheSiren

Cool moment catching Rod Brind’Amour on the ice just after their Stanley Cup Final win. I let him know about the THOUSANDS of #Caniacs in and around Lenovo celebrating that night and his response was special: “It’s a community team. They’re a part of it. I think this is their reward for a lot of years of getting close…but now it’s their trophy too.”
