Kentucky broadcaster Dick Gabriel says John Calipari asked Kentucky to counter Arkansas’ offer. Alabama coach Nate Oats talks about their gameplan against Kentucky, identifying they don’t move the ball. “When I watched them play, I didn’t feel like they moved the ball great. You look and their assist rate is pretty high. Do a deeper dive, 27 assists, 27 assists, against bye games that play a lot of zone. Kentucky has their first commitment of the 2026 class. Four-star PG Mason Williams picks Kentucky over Ole Miss, Texas Tech, and Washington. A 6-2, 185-pound guard that likes to get downhill and has good vision. Son of former NBA Champ Mo Williams, which could be something to monitor with UK's assistant opening.
