One trick Volkanovski used vs Lopes was doubling up on a chopping overhand right. Why it was effective: 1) It takes advantage of Lopes' limitations in exchanges by smothering him. And this has all to do with the trajectory of the right allowing Volk to dip his head under Lopes'.
