🚨 THIS IS COMPLETELY OUT OF ORDER 🚨 Anyone who follows me knows I’m certainly not shy about calling the police out when they get it wrong, but fair is fair, and what this video appears to show is absolutely disgusting. Officers are dealing with a chaotic street incident in which a man can be seen with serious facial injuries. Then, while they’re trying to bring the situation under control, a woman appears to walk straight up and strike an officer across the face. What did she honestly expect to happen next? A polite handshake and a lift home? 🙄 She continues to resist as officers restrain, handcuff and take her to the police van. Whatever your opinion of the police, nobody should be assaulted simply for doing their job. We rightly demand accountability from officers, and that same accountability must apply to members of the public. Our streets are already out of control without people thinking they can assault police officers and then fight against being arrested. 🚨 THIS IS EXACTLY WHY SO MANY OF US ARE SICK OF IT. Two young British girls on a night out, visibly scared. A bloke notices something isn’t right, walks over and starts asking if they’re okay. He checks whether the men hanging around them are actually WITH them. The girls say NO. One of the men is stood outside the club in jogging bottoms. The girls look terrified. So this stranger refuses to just walk past and mind his own business. He stays with them and tells the men straight: STOP HARASSING GIRLS. And afterwards? The girls THANK him for stepping in. This is what women and girls are dealing with. A night out. Walking to a mate’s. Going to the shops. Getting home at night. Constantly looking over your shoulder and wondering whether that bloke following you is going to leave you alone. And apparently we’re supposed to pretend nobody can see what’s happening? We’re not “imagining” it. WE’RE LIVING IT. When are people going to stop pretending everything is fine? 🇬🇧 Only a few more days until Notting Hill Carnival… 🥳 Nothing screams “vibrant cultural celebration” quite like feathered pasties, public grinding, open drug-taking, people getting flattened in the street, crowds scattering like it’s a police raid, and the Met desperately trying to hold it all together in high-vis. Lawlessness, violence, drugs and the almost inevitable stabbing… you name it, Carnival has it. Just another wholesome weekend in lawless London, where “diversity is our greatest strength”… and the taxpayer funds the clean-up. 🎉🔪🇬🇧
