the new Starlink videos are crazy because it makes you realize there's a decent chance we become aliens to someplace else before they ever visit us here imagine showing this to someone from 100 years ago on earth, they would think we've already been invaded

Time it took U.S. military to eliminate different regime leaders: - Bin Laden = 10years - Hussein = 9months - Maduro = 2hrs - Khamenei = 1hr Either we're getting WAY better at war or we’re finally prioritizing results over enriching defense contractors

The NY Times spent 18 months investigating who Satoshi was using stylometric analysis to create a big exposé and finally dox Bitcoin's creator. John McAfee spent one afternoon, $200, a phone call and was 99% certain. And once he knew...he never mentioned the name again.

"We've bought $100M an hour, it doesn't move price. We've bought $200M an hour, it doesn't move price. We've bought $300M an hour, and stopped...price goes up." - Michael Saylor STRC fueled BTC buy this week on pace to be +$1Billion. That's $2.35M of BTC/minute or $140M of BTC/hour.

This is something that 95% of crypto twitter could benefit from hearing: > CZ didn't make his first million until he was 39 > He didn't launch Binance until he was 40 > You can work/learn/fail for a decade and still win Crypto is the one of the only places left where it's possible to make it overnight. But that doesn't mean you should hyper-focus on it. Play the long game, you have time.

Coinbase CEO reveals how ai agents are already helping run the company "We're giving them all stablecoin wallets. If you really want to treat them like digital employees, they need to have a corporate card. But traditional corporate cards can't be issued to non human entities."

Now the connection between Leopold and Sam Bankman-Fried is kinda insane lore. Right after college he worked at FTX Future Fund and was in charge of deploying billions of dollars for the effective altruist movement. Developing a theory that EA ideology is very good for making billions but maybe not so good for risk management.

Andrew Tate announcing his new token $TRW lets you receive percentage of profits from his business. “If you own 10% of the token, you own 10% of TRW which is $2M a month. You will be able to stake it based on the profit TRW generates.” In theory - that sounds amazing. Tokens that pass through revenues generated by the protocol/business directly to holders? That’s how every ‘governance’ token should work. But there’s a reason none of them do it...it paints a giant target on your back for the SEC. He either makes 9 figs or gets a 9 fig legal battle with the US government. Bold strategy.

Today is the first time Elon & Sam are in the same room since this convo from 2017 At one point Sam asks: "I hope I don't regret asking this on camera but how do you think OpenAi is growing as a 6 month old company?" Crazy that Elon's answer back then also includes the reason they are facing off in court today 9 years later

Ken Griffin gave this warning recently during a rare podcast appearance: "You'll never manage a portfolio for every possible tail event, but you should stay very focused on what is the worst-case scenario?" "Can I tolerate that loss? And monitor and maintain your exposures such that the loss is a tolerable loss. It may be an extreme loss, but it's still tolerable." "Definable, tolarable, still in business, still in a position to fight back from that point. That's what you're trying to get your head around." Almost like he was speaking directly to Leopold knowing how this trade would unfold. Savage.

TBPN shares the best piece of advice they ever got which led to being acquired by OpenAi for $100M+ "He was our very first listener. We sent him a link and a google drive. From the first episode he said: take this 100x more seriously than you are right now. And we did." Wisdom from David Senra that you should probably apply to whatever you are working on right now.

my favorite part about solana:9cRCn9rGT8V2imeM2BaKs13yhMEais3ruM3rPvTGpump ripping to $300M in one week is how well Ansem 🐂🀄️ played this strategy two cycles in a row 5 years ago we jumped on a call & he described missing Defi summer because he lost interest during the bear market so next time everyone was peak bearish in 2022, he was in $SOL trenches building position/conviction before anyone else saw the same trade and now running it back one bear mkt later making contrarian play when memecoins were on their deathbed you don't even have to be bullish on the coin but it's impossible to ignore how well it's been executed genuinely impressive 🐂🀄️

This is the best clip on how Kevin Warsh taking over as Fed Chair might impact rates For the first time we'lll have real-time inflation data instead of legacy method of just surveying 8,000 ppl When the Fed starts using Ai & new data do you think the real inflation number is higher or lower than the official numbers today? And how does that impact cuts or hikes... That's the real variable to solve for. New era for the fed.

Best concise explanation of the geopolitical chess match unfolding between US, Iran, Russia, and China with regards to oil. "You can take Iran's oil offline & Russia has all the power. You can take Russia offline & control Iran...but if you pick a fight with either, you blow up the oil market" Blow up oil market = blow up treasury market = blow up government's ability to fund itself.

The k-shaped crypto recovery thesis articulated by Cobie "You have to detach that memecoins aren't going up or governance tokens aren't going up. It feels depressing because you can't get exposure to things that are good. Even I can't get exposure to the things that are good. But there's a societal bull case for crypto enabling alot of stuff. And if crypto does enable alot of this stuff as more & more capital comes on chain. It's inevitable that we have another season of euphoria and fun... The more capital that comes onchain, the more & more inevitable that appears to be."
