Why PVE Existence Helped The Game # Usually PVE haters have logic of 'PVP timmies went to PVE so raids are dead, hence game dead' to certain small portion, they are right. We got that out of the way, let's talk about it. "Why PVE didn't kill the game, instead it revived it." 1. PVE players now are not only ones from PVP, but also people who are coming for first time, who came back after tarkov fatigue, or who were on fence. -> so even tho PVE is removed, people won't go PVP, people will simply drop the game. 2. PVE is also good entry game mode which would even increase PVP players eventually. We had lot of PVE players try PVP Season recently. 3. PVE players paid additional money to play PVE in base. -> these were used to develop the game content more, such as season & new maps. -> nikita even approves that PVE interest was unexpected. 0. PVE is the only way after game is finished or abandoned fully, with modding being added (officially confirmed for modding) + p.s. I still think PVE should be free for Standard PVP edition purchasers or sold as standalone copy of PVE I know some people will say 'make your own game and give for free', but im talking about after buying PVP, or Purchase PVE standalone, not totally free game.

Soon Halloween is coming, especially for tarkov, Nikita said the halloween event (image 1) will be 'bigger & better' Zombie event (video 1), multiple times. Interesting part of it is, the Zombie part became more Canon as time has passed by. Not only LABs which initialized the event, but Icebreaker also has story behind it. The scientist behind the door in icebreaker threatens you with 'dangerous biomaterials' in possession (video 2) and after you finish the icebreaker storyline, BTR & smuggler crew try to save the scientist, but the scientist bites & throw vial at the crews. (image 2) So the Zombie halloween Event will have more build up & back up story with bigger scale. From here is speculation, since the event is gonna be big, i think it will start couple of weeks before actual Halloween Oct 31st. Also, the arena cosmetics seems related to biohazard protection (image 3). Making me think the delayed 'overrun' mode (co-op mode with swarming ai enemies) will be linked with Zombie halloween Event. What do you guys think?

The website will also show you their stats, gear, achievements earned over time, etc. in detail, according to their played game mode. The first guys achievement definitely looks wild.
