Andoni Iraola has revealed in an interview that Liverpool didn't ask his opinion before signing Ronald Araujo. Reporter: “Andoni, Liverpool have decided to sign Ronald Araújo. Were you consulted before the deal?” Iraola: “Consulted? No. I wasn't even asked what I thought.” Reporter: “Does that frustrate you as the manager?” Iraola: “Of course it does. I’m the one expected to manage these players, but apparently my opinion doesn’t carry much weight when decisions are made above me.” Reporter: “So you don't fully agree with the signing?” Iraola: “I’m not saying Araújo isn’t a good player. I’m saying Liverpool should value the opinion of the person who has to build the team around him. If they wanted my advice, they would have asked for it.”
