West Germany 🇩🇪 vs Colombia 🇨🇴 World Cup 1990. Italy 90 🇮🇹 iconic match. After 87 minutes without a goal, Pierre Littbarski (who came for Uwe Bein in the first half) appeared to have won it for West Germany with a strong left-footed strike into the upper corner. However, in the time of suspension, Colombia produced one of the most memorable tournament sequences. Carlos Valderrama inserted the trademark through the ball to Freddy Rincón, who inserted the ball through Bodo Illgner’s foot to equalize the position. Those points were enough to send Colombia to the knockout stage for the first time in their history, while West Germany continued as group winners on their way to winning the trophy. Starting Line-up West Germany: Illgner, Augenthaler, Berthold, Buchwald, Pflügler, Reuter, Häßler, Matthäus, Bein, Völler, Klinsmann. (Manager: Franz Beckenbauer) Colombia: Higuita, Herrera, Perea, Escobar, Gildardo Gómez, Gabriel Gómez, Álvarez, Rincón, Valderrama, Fajardo, Estrada. (Manager: Francisco Maturana) Final Score: West Germany 1, Colombia 1 Score: Pierre Littbarski (88’), Freddy Rincón (90+2’) Place: San Siro, Milan Attendance: 72,510 Referee: Alan Snoddy (North Ireland) Card: Thomas Berthold (GER), Luis Herrera, Gabriel Gómez, Leonel Álvarez (COL)

Ronaldo & Batistuta are one team! Only once in a lifetime, the world’s two best strikers play together. Rest of the World destroyed Europe 5-2 in Marseille. The Phenomenon scored 2 goals + 3 assists, Batigol added 2 goals. The attacker’s dream came true.

Do you remember when Pippo Inzaghi decided to defy the law of fate and wore the number 10 shirt? It was October 11, 2003, Italy-Wales. Pippo, a man who lives on the offside edge, takes the clothes of a poet and a fantasyist. That night he wasn’t just a predator in the area; between assists and classy play, he seemed to want to tell the world that even heart and hunger could paint football. As I wrote in the book, there was a time when the number ten was everywhere, small and big painters of balls that made us feel alive with one touch. Seeing Pippo with that number is an incredible “desire”, an imperfect but soulful football symbol, where even a center attacker can dream of becoming an artist for one night. A football that today seems far away, but it is still alive if we keep telling it. Relive these emotions.

July 12, 1998... The night when France destroyed Brazil’s dream in the World Cup final! Zidane scored 2 headers in the first 20 minutes, Petit closed it in injury time. Final score: Brazil 0-3 France. The only World Cup final that Ronaldo watched in a “weird” condition. Which team of you was more heartbroken that night? Brazil or something else? 😢” “Who still remembers where you watched this final?

One of the craziest matches in the 90s era! Lazio 4-4 AC Milan - October 3, 1999 Verón opened the score, Mihajlović & Abbiati own goal, Salas brace... but Andriy Shevchenko answered with a HAT-TRICK in his epic debut match! 8 goals, high tempo, and pure entertainment typical of old Calcio. Who still remembers tonight at Olimpico?

Imagine a player who is so good that at the age of 29, he has 3 FIFA world cups in his name. They called him ‘O Rei’—King. Long before Messi and Ronaldo, Pelé was the real mistake in the system. He is a 5’8” powerhouse who can jump over the central defender, the winger runs faster and more skilled than everyone else. He has no sports science or modern throwing—he only has a ball and a dream that changes the sport forever. 1,281 goals, 3 World Cups and a legacy that will never be touched.
