I like to think that plants song actually came to Vash only through his gates with connect to a higher dimension, he could sense it/pick up the signal/smthg like that. Nai heard this melody from Vash and for decades tried to imitate it, but he did it wrong. That hurts even more.

One of my fav X plots. Sonic would just take the problem & solve it without telling anyone, which often led to him being labeled a villain. But for him, it literally makes no sense to explain things that seem so obvious. His sensitivity to changes in nature is also a good detail
