FACT: #Sudan has 210 million acres of arable land. But, only 25% of it is being used. While we're on track to help this nation double its wheat production, together we can do SO much more. With private sector support, Sudan could feed not just itself, but the whole world!

Back in Jerusalem with our team. Gaza remains brutal, the West Bank is deteriorating. Our teams reach over a million Palestinians every month with food, but progress is fragile without sustained access, shelter and medicine. There is no recovery without an end to this conflict.

The Taliban just said women cannot work for the United Nations in #Afghanistan. That makes our job nearly impossible. Women are the backbone of World Food Programme—we have 9,600 working on the frontlines of hunger worldwide. While millions of Afghans face starvation, this is simply unacceptable.
