Gisele Bündchen has finally opened up about why she ended her marriage to ex-husband Tom Brady, over claims that he abandoned their kids and cheated on her. “Tom wasn’t there for me, especially when it came to our children. He wasn’t the husband or father I dreamed of having. He failed me in ways that hurt deeply. He cheated on me, and although I forgave him, I made mistakes of my own that I deeply regret. “Eventually, I gave Tom an ultimatum: choose your family or your football career. I needed to know that we mattered enough for him to make that sacrifice. “But his response made everything clear. He told me he had spent years building his career long before he met me and that he couldn’t simply give it all up for love or family. “That was the moment I realized I had to leave. I couldn’t spend the rest of my life with someone who wasn’t willing to be present, affectionate and fully committed to his family. I deserve more than that, and I will never choose to live that way again.”
