American says she always has the Bluetooth in her car cutout randomly for 1-2 seconds at a time, she couldn’t figure out why She finally figured it out. It’s the flock safety cameras. Every time she drives by a flock cameras whether it’s an intersection or parking lot, her Bluetooth temporarily cuts out She believes the flock is reading the Bluetooth of her car, which ironically there is a new service called SignalTrace that’s essentially an expansion on Flock that does identify you and all your passengers by your device signals. It’s not Flock but SignalTrace sensors are out near or on Flock camera’s poles sometimes Flock’s hardware emits the same Bluetooth band as Bluetooth audio in your car so there can be interference. This is absolutely insane American went to buy Walgreens brand blood glucose test strips. She takes the box up to the register to buy it The price should be $30 but it rings up as $75. The issue turned out to be that the people stocking the shelves put the ones that were supposed to be behind the pharmacy counter on the regular shelves But they are the exact same test strips, same box, same amount of strips, just a different barcode but everything else is the same The box behind the pharmacy counter sells for $75 for people with insurance. The one on the same is $30 So if you have insurance and pay at the pharmacy the price is $45 more What are we even doing anymore… our healthcare system is such an absolute scam We need healthcare reform immediately

This Asian man got a loaner car from Lexus The vehicle is equipped with new eye monitoring cameras to make sure you’re paying attention to the road. Only one problem Because he’s Asian the Lexus registers his eyes as closed…. Many people believe this is racist Apparently this is caused by a computer-vision threshold problem. The camera’s software measures how open the eye looks. They do this by meaning the height of the visible opening between the eyelids relative to the width. If that opening drops below a set value for too long, it flags “eyes closed.” Many Asian faces have a naturally narrower eye opening even when the eyes are fully open so this registers as being closed to the software

I literally can’t believe what I just watched Michigan is ranked 44th in 4th grade reading nationally and only 38% of 3rd graders are proficient in reading So lawmakers passed a new law. Now in schools students will be taught to sound out words…. This had been moved away from and instead students were being told to just use a different word if they didn’t know how to pronounce the word they were trying to read I can’t believe this is how low we’ve sunk as a country…… Teacher in Michigan explains how they have been teaching. “So if the sentence was, "We are meeting after school," and a student got to the word ‘meeting’ and they didn't know how to read the word ‘meeting,’ I might have said, "Use the words that you do know.” Whoever has done this to our education system needs to be locked up. This is clearly intentionally destroying our kids education

We are in big trouble This is a high school teacher, she explains that her 15 year old students are completely lost. She says they don’t even know how to use a highlighter She’s teaching American history and the principals of our country being established during our founding. She put the information into very easy to follow sections, because the students would understand if if she didn’t She gave each a highlighter and said let’s highlight the important parts. The students couldn’t do it. They don’t even know how to put the cap of the highlighter on the back so it wouldn’t get lost She says it’s so bad, if there is a picture in the book “you’ve already lost the student” they’ll just color the picture. She says one kid colored his desk orange She says it took her at least 17 different times giving instructions on just how to use the highlighter….. these are 15 year old high school students What is happening in America??

It has already been relisted The new price is $1 million Again, just 2 years ago this home was only $550,000 No average American can lever hope to compete with this kind of housing market. She put in the application over 10 years ago She decided to still go check out the place. By now she has a husband and a few kids. She thinks they might qualify because she doesn’t think they make a lot of money, she says “we’re struggling” Her family is denied because of income. She says there is no way to get ahead “It blows my mind. It blows my mind. All of us are struggling. When is the rent cap gonna happen because it's incredibly high? I know I will never be able to save for a house because our rent is so high. We're literally just dumping our savings into rent every month. This American is a dental hygienist in Nashville, Tennessee She is brought to tears over the cost patients must save up to pay for dental services and then how “disgusting” some offices are She went to temp at an office and had to walk out. “It’s disgusting.
