BREAKING: The Ford gov't scheduled a midnight debate to ram through Bill 100, which lets them appoint our Region’s chair who will be able to overrule Niagara's elected mayors. It's not right. We stopped the power grab on forced amalgamation. Now we have to stop this one too.

Doug Ford lied. He promised the people of Ontario he wouldn’t touch the Greenbelt. Now we know, well-connected developers could see a $8.3 BILLION windfall from removing Greenbelt protections. This is corruption from the provincial government, & Minister Clark should resign.

Today, Bill 60 moves closer to being made law. The Conservatives have created a crisis in health care in order to push for more private, for-profit clinics. They refused to consult with communities or front-line workers. I'm always going to stand up for public health care.

Public health care is personal to me. My family lived in poverty when I was young due to medical bills. Today, in the US, more than 60% of bankruptcies are from health care costs, and 100 million people have medical debt. We don't want that here. #onpoli #healthcare
