I agree with Saad Mohseni. Why does everything have to be viewed in black and white? Why doesn’t the Afghan diaspora understand that? Saad is someone who lives in Afghanistan and can speak more accurately about the realities on the ground. There are different voices coming from Afghanistan: those who are anti Taliban, those who are pro Taliban, and those who are pro Afghanistan, people like Saad, myself, and many others. Yes, serious problems still exist. Girls above the sixth grade are still denied access to school, despite protests by both men and women. Women are still barred from attending universities. These realities should never be ignored. At the same time, you still see women living, working, creating, and existing because resilience is part of who we are. Afghan women have been resisting male dominated ideologies for centuries, sometimes through major struggles, sometimes with little support, but always with determination. One thing is certain: life has never been easy, and the experiences of women in Afghanistan have never been the same across the country. The realities of women in larger cities have often differed from those in smaller towns and villages. We do not live in an ideal world. Instead of forcing every conversation into a black and white narrative and labeling anyone who speaks about the realities on the ground or sees things through a different lens as a Taliban sympathizer, we should acknowledge and amplify the gray areas. Doing so can help make life easier for those who still live in the country and fight these battles every day, not those commenting from abroad while enjoying freedoms and opportunities that many Afghans do not have.

Morning reminder: WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS. My second favorite team won the AsiaCup25 and still said, “Nah, keep your trophy.” 😂 They celebrated with an imaginary one instead; because when you dominate your opponents that hard, even your air trophy carries more weight 😉👏🏻 #INDvsPAK #IndianCricket

Delhi hai Dilwalo ki. King Virat Kohli is asking his fans to stop the fan war on Naveen ul haq Murid. Later, they shake hands and hug each other. To all those asking why the king is my favorite Indian player, what a gesture! 👏🏻🇮🇳🤝🇦🇫

A massive shoutout to all the Afghan and Indian fans of Afghanistan team at the Narendra Modi Stadium today 🇦🇫🇮🇳👏 You turned up loud, proud, and unwavering from the first ball to the very last. Your chants, energy, and relentless support for our boys echoed throughout the stadium and we felt every bit of it. The love and respect shown by Indian fans means the world to us and perfectly captures why we proudly call India our second home. India Afghanistan bhai bhai 🤝 Thank you for standing by our team and cheering them on all game long. You were truly incredible. 🙏🤌🏻🫰🏻 #AFGvsSA #T20WorldCup

Some more celebratory videos from our #AfghanAtalan. My baby is also trying to Attan with his idols. He's 6 years old, an Indian-born British citizen, brought up in the UAE, but the love he has for his homeland and people is next level 🥹♥️🇦🇫 #AFGvsPAK

Today in Kabul, another mass burial and funeral ceremony is being held for 46 martyrs following Pakistan’s bombing of the 2000 bed rehabilitation hospital. إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون We will not forgive, and we will not forget. Let Pakistan’s crimes against humanity and the Afghan people be known to the world.
