I couldn’t imagine Michael Jordan hiring a person full time to be a flunky and go around complaining and begging people to respect him. Rich Paul speaking out on behalf of LeBron’s free agency does what exactly? What Rich Paul does make LeBron look worse in the broader scope of the public. Do you really need a guy petitioning your Goat case and “reporting” things that you want out in the public? Like what is Rich Paul’s purpose in these interviews other than just whining on LeBron’s behalf. What happened to just letting your game speak for you?

AD and LeBron were equals during the 2020 Bubble Run but people talk like Kobe rings don’t matter when him and Shaq were equals in 2001 and 2002. Don’t just say “well look at the Finals Stats” when it takes 16 post season games to make it and complete the mission and Kobe was “carrying” against the tougher West opponents in the WCF.

WOW. COACH K saying Jordan is #1 and it many people are in that room and he mentions Kobe 2nd. Y’all gone have a heart attack when yall realize that some of the greatest basketball minds in the world have Jordan first, then Kobe and even others before they even think about LeBron. But here’s the thing, that’s no shade. LeBron is up there. But this idea that Kobe is no where near the top when so many NBA LEGENDS say Jordan-Kobe is so close and LeBron isn’t always up there with them Jordan/Kobe in their minds. And again, THATS OK. Because there’s some coaches who believe LeBron is #1 or believe Kobe is #3 behind LeBron. But the thing is, None of the great minds think Kobe is fringe top 10. That’s a bleacher report thing that’s not real life basketball 🫡

This series ended the Kobe vs Duncan debate. Getting gentlemen swept by your rival with a good team should be unacceptable but for Duncan it’s swept under the rug when comparing the two. Kobe swept Duncan once and gentlemen swept him twice. Once was right here in front of everyone in 2008. No Shaq and his second option Gasol put up 13 PPG. Kobe finished the series 29PPG on 53% shooting while playing excellent defense. This ended the debate I’m sorry.

Stephen A Smith gets called out by former NBA player Rashad McCants on the Gil’s Arena saying Stephen A Smith DID NOT HAVE THIS ENERGY AGAINST KOBE WHEN HE WAS ALIVE. He’s saying exactly what needs to be said with Stephen A Smith speaking so foolishly and disrespectfully on Kobe Bryant just to boost Lebron. It’s so distasteful and stupid.

Total BS. Kobe is ranked 10 or 11th all time Bill Simmons Tell me once when any player ever uttered “Kobe is my GOAT”. Name one player who stated “Duncan is the toughest to guard in the league”. Never been said once. But for Kobe, it’s said. “Duncan is our Jordan”. Never said about Duncan, but said about Kobe. Why don’t these people ever mention Duncan getting clapped up by Kobe in 2008? We’ll get there but There’s a host of other stuff to get into though 1st. Kobe not Top 10? Really? How, with this resume. And I’m not even going to mention everything: People leave Kobe off the top 5 list and it’s a shame because you claim to know ball. Let’s dig into this. People get on Kobe for winning with Shaq when you know good and well Kareem and Magic hasn’t done what Kobe has done. Kobe proved that he was an all time Top 5 legend by winning back to back Chips without a Top 75 Teammate POST SHAQ!! They said he couldn’t win without him and he DID, yet they you and the media still punish him. Kobe was already on pace to be a Top 15-20ish player had he never won anymore championships without Shaq because his talent demands that. But he did over and above that POST SHAQ. Kobe proved the “you can’t win without Shaq narrative” was a sham. Not only did he prove it wrong, he totally obliterate that stronghold the media put on his career. Kobe faced the toughest of competition, TORCHED his rival Tim Duncan, had an all time run from 08-10 that saw him outdual and beat the same teams in the finals that Lebron, his Co-Megastar of the league at the time, would lose to. Kobe was ONE of the reasons Wade teamed up with your #2 All time guy Lebron, to get rings in a league where the Celtics and Kobe seemed to be unbeatable to Lebron and Wade. People act like Kobe didn’t cross every box and jump every hurdle y’all put in front of him. He has championships, Consensus 1-2 Most skilled all time, Stats, 4th points all time (despite slow start to career) and is the 1-2 greatest scorer of all time considering he did what he did in the slowest paced era where the league still esteemed defense and drafted and paid big money in free agency for “KOBE STOPPERS”. AND HE DID ALL THIS IN THE WESTERN CONFERENCE!! 25-10 vs. 50 WIN PLAYOFF teams (most all time) 122- 40 point games 25- 50 point games 6- 60 point games 12 time All Defensive team 9 time All Def 1st(most alltime for Gaurd) Revered by his rivals as Top 1-5 all time AND MJ STATED THAT Kobe is the only player he thinks can beat him!! And you know the only reason Kobe doesn’t have more MVPS is because of COLORADO so don’t even bring up that media driven narrative award. I’m done 🫡 Oh, before I go, here’s that spanking I was referring to in 2008⬇️

Admitted LeBron is the GOAT Stan Van Gundy said “we wanted LeBron to score”. LeBron’s 38PPG was surely a feat against Orlando but he still was not the best player in the league. As the Magic still punished the Cavs and beat them in 6 and would have been 5 if not a great buzzer beater from LeBron. LeBron was also a -7 for the series. But when then Magic faced Kobe they were pretty much dominated because Kobe was the scoring engine and a threat all around the court. So the Magic could not just load up on the Lakers role players because Kobe’s action was putting so much pressure on them. They had to watch Kobe when he was around his spots in the mid-range and it often led to Pau Gasol having more one on ones in the post and even slashing and getting easy hand-offs from Kobe. Kobe averaged 32PPG with 7.4 assists and was a +49 for the series. It was total domination when he was on the court. He opened up everything and his action was way too much for the Magic. There was no defense for Kobe at this time in his career. He was the best player in the league which is why he went to 3 straight finals out of the gutter Western Conference and won back to back with Pau Gasol as his running mate

Kobe Won 2 rings in 6 years with Pau as his second option. Just 6 years. Kobe was peaking for like 14-15 years in his career. The Gasol years aren’t even half of Kobe’s peak. Clearly, he could win another 2-3 with another solid option. Wining with Pau was proof he didn’t need Shaq to win rings. That was the whole reason for the 2009 revenge season 🐍 If you need a reminder, here’s 24 minutes of greatness to get you back in the swing of things. Kobe 2009 season one of the best all time.

Anytime anyone ask me why I talk about Lebron James Stans so much, I’ll send them this video. They don’t have to listen to it but here it is. Lebron James Stans ruined the conversations surrounding the NBA. Its no longer about appreciating ballers, it’s all about disparaging players to boost another. It’s a cancer and it’s destroying the love of the game. We’ve never seen anything like this as wide spread as this disease is nowadays. I’m tired of it.
