Legendary CME floor trader, Lewis Borsellino believes successful traders share one thing in common: a specific personality type. “If you went to work all week and your boss said, ‘yeah, you did a good job this week, but I can't pay you.’ How long would you do that job for?” “Trading is one of the only professions where you can work hard… Do everything right…And still make no money for weeks.” That’s why most people quit. Most people can’t be traders. Not because they’re not smart. But because they can’t handle loss. The question is simple: Can you keep showing up anyway?

Trader Kane built a 7-figure futures career (and holds a record-breaking prop firm payout of $1,866,230) breaks down the trap most funded traders fall into. One of the unprofitable traders in the room passed his funded account in May, nine months into trading seriously. He blew the whole account in two days. Kane doesn't sugarcoat it: "You're basically on full tilt. You're hoping the market is just going to do what you're predicting. You probably don't have an edge." Then he gets into why that happens. "A lot of successful traders will say full time trading is actually part time trading, because a successful full time trader actually has a bit of an identity crisis from a routine perspective." "It all sounds well and good, being your own boss, going to lunch with your friends, playing golf all day, until you're not making money for two months. Your bills are racking up. You're putting money on your credit card. I've seen it all. I've lived it all." His fix isn't a new strategy. It's removing the pressure. "Having an income outside of trading allows you to stop making emotional decisions, because right now the only way you're going to make money is by making money in the market." "I imagine having some sort of steady income is going to relieve some of this stress. Because right now you're in fight or flight, no doubt." So before you quit your full time job, ask yourself this: How much of your worst trading is really about the chart, and how much is about needing the money? FULL EPISODE👇

Market Wizard Lance Breitstein says experienced traders often know when they’re making a mistake. They still struggle to close the trade. “When you're making a mistake, you know it deep down in your subconscious.” You had a thesis. Then the chart moved against it. Now you’re waiting for silver to crack, or for a stock to pull back, because that’s what you believed should happen. The position stays open for mainly three reasons: 1. Closing it makes the loss real. 2. You still think the reversal could come. 3. Missing that reversal feels unbearable. Lance describes the trap: “The pain of your loss... is still less than the pain of FOMO.” His way to break it is to remove the position from the equation. “Let me just get flat and reassess. I can always put this trade right back on.” Once he’s out, he says the trance wears off. He can look at the chart again without needing it to prove him right. The warning sign is the moment you feel you cannot get flat or step away. That’s precisely when Lance says the break matters most. Have you ever held a trade you knew was wrong because you couldn’t bear watching it reverse without you? Lance and five other professional traders go deeper on conviction, emotional attachment, and when to abandon a thesis in the Full Episode. 👇

Pradeep Bonde, a mentor to multiple 7, 8, and 9-figure traders says most traders are playing the wrong game. “People think trading is about passion… it’s not.” You can love the markets, study every day, and still not make money. Because there’s a gap: What real traders do vs what you think they do. “Most pros aren’t hitting home runs… they’re hitting singles. Over and over again.” But nobody wants that game. They come in wanting big wins, fast money, life-changing trades. Instead, the real game is repetitive, disciplined, and honestly… a bit boring. So here’s the real question: Are you willing to trade the way money is actually made… or just the way it looks exciting? Full episode 👇

Kyle (aka JadeCap), the trader behind the world-record $2.5M single payout, drew a line between discipline and ego that most traders miss. "I think that's the male ego talking." He wasn't being harsh. He was being honest. Ryan, one of the 15 unprofitable traders in the room, felt like surrendering to his environment was a weakness. That a real trader should be the anchor. Unshakeable. Anywhere. Kyle understood the feeling. But he'd seen what happens when traders convince themselves the environment doesn't matter. The best traders he knows? Boring. Same meals every day. Same schedule. Same environment. Not because they lack ambition but because they understand what consistency actually costs. He didn't leave the country until he was 31. Friends were travelling through their 20s. He stayed locked in, because he knew what slipping out of routine did to his performance. Ryan pushed back. Said he should be the pillar. Shouldn't need the room. Kyle's answer was simple: that's not discipline. That's ego. Your diet, your sleep, your relationships; all of it bleeds into your PNL whether you recognise it or not. So ask yourself this: Are you disciplined enough to control your environment, or just too proud to admit it matters? Full Episode 👇
