.Devin Haney has been calling for a fight with Teofimo Lopez for the better part of roughly 4 years since 2021 when he captured the WBC title & Teofimo Lopez possessed the remaining belts (WBO, WBA, IBF & Ring Title)… Recent reports suggest, Jaron “Boots” Ennis is uninterested in a fight with Lopez, being he holds no titles in his respective weight class & is seeking unification bouts in pursuit of undisputed in the 147 lb division.. One of the biggest rivalries in boxing between the Haney’s & Lopez’s, was rumored to be presented to Teofimo Lopez in light of Ennis turning down the offer… According to multiple reports, Teofimo Lopez & his team were in agreement for a bout Mid-August with Team Haney, but negotiations are stalled after another online rant from Lopez, putting his relationship with Turki Alalshikh & Riyadh Season in jeopardy… Through out the ordeal, Team Haney has shown 100% interest in the Lopez fight & went into negotiations with high optimism of getting a deal done…
