I thought about the Wanna Get Away slogan of Southwest Airlines today while on this desolate stretch of highway in eastern NM. I didn’t see another vehicle for nearly 2 hours. No people, no cars, no cell service, no noise, no traffic, no nothing. This right here is what keeps me sane. The getting away from the hustle and bustle of life for just a moment.
