VIDEO: On April 26th, 2025, I was involved in an altercation with James Adama, the so-called coordinator of The Concerned Christian Youth Forum (CCYF), at the Nigeria Police Force Force Investigation Department (FID) offices in Abuja. Adama has a significant amount of influence on the police, as they help him draft and vet petitions to violate the rights of young people using social media to express their views freely. So far, Adama’s efforts have led to the detention of citizens on behalf of prominent preachers. On this particular day, Adama had another victim, the podcaster of KAA_FANS, in his sights, but this intervention enabled him to return home on bail. Previously, Adama detained the Eneche brothers for months on behalf of Dr. Paul Enenche of Dunamis Church and arrested Olumide Ogunsanwo SEA KING (IFA OLUOKUN) 🐬🌊🧜♂️ twice. Adama is well-connected and funded by prosperity preachers in Nigeria. What is bizarre about his connivance with these Nigeria Police Force officers is that he is used to persecute people as a “nominal complainant” when his victims haven't committed any infractions against him as a person. Following this altercation, the FID did not carry out any further detentions, even though they still constantly harassed people underground. However, Adama is reportedly planning a protest this week; this is a welcome development, as he is entitled to these rights just as others expressing their views about his benefactors are within their rights to do so. However, the struggle to preserve the dignity of citizens cannot be stopped.

UPDATE ON OUR VISIT TO NYSC HEADQUARTERS OVER USHIE RITA “@Raye_hq” UGUAMAYE'S DISCHARGE CERTIFICATE Yesterday, we returned to the National Youth Service Corps NYSC NDHQ Headquarters to follow up on our letter demanding that the Director-General Brigadier General OO Nafiu release Ushie Rita “Raye” Uguamaye’s discharge certificate. Instead of granting us access to see the DG, Nigerian Army officers Nigerian Army deployed at the premises harassed us simply for exercising our right to document our movement with video recordings. In addition, all senior officials, including the DG, conveniently instructed their staff to tell us they were “not on seat.” After persistent effort, the registration office on the DG’s floor finally admitted that our letter, submitted by Barrister Inibehe Effiong, is “still being processed.” We will not relent. We will return to the NYSC Headquarters until justice is done and Raye receives her rightful discharge certificate without further delay. We will be back.

The people who perceive themselves as being above the law constitute a distinct group of elites who become agitated when those they have subjugated demand equal treatment. Although I have strong disdain for those who believe they are above the law, I am equally intolerant of those who remain complacent despite being oppressed. People who have coalesced with their oppressors by fear or acquiescence can never attain freedom or true happiness.
