Instead, she used her martial arts training to defend herself and subdue the attackers. Police reviewed both the restaurant’s security footage and the attackers’ own video, ruled it self-defense, and filed no charges against Gracie. The attackers were arrested and faced felony charges, including gang assault. They came for a viral video. They left with felony charges.
