In our world today, Russia and the CCP are existential threats to democracy, and that's pretty unsettling. Even scarier though is that in the U.S.— the country seen as a beacon of democracy and freedom by people around the globe—one party has been hijacked by MAGA, and has begun showing the same traits as dictators and their regimes! Dictators often claim to be “chosen by God” but God does not choose, rather God gave each of us the ability to choose for ourselves, and to face the consequences. My grandparents were tortured and killed by a dictatorship, and my parents have lived their entire lives scarred by those experiences. Today, I do what I can to help others perceive the truth and nuance of life by accessing information from multiple sources. I hope, through my translations, to help people escape the information bubbles which so easily form online and make informed choices. I'm committed to doing everything I can to ensure my kids and their children won’t fall prey to the same dark patterns of dictatorship which ravaged my family. Free your mind and free the world! We’re not going back!

I am an Asian American woman, a Floridian, a mother of a daughter and a son, and a translator. Every day, I translate videos and news into Chinese to help Chinese-speaking American citizens better understand what we are fighting for—a better future for ourselves and our children. The Chinese-speaking community is heavily impacted by Chinese government propaganda, misinformation, and information warfare. Due to language barriers, many rely heavily on Chinese-language platforms, where they fall into the trap of authoritarian propaganda. However, my translations are now being heavily restricted on this platform, which is owned by those complicit with dictators! So, if you can see this, please help me! Thank you!
