Dear Ugandans, let's give Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Ltd a chance. It might struggle in the short term; might never stabilise under YKM, but a key sector is in Ugandan hands. Whoever assembled these bu-videos, with a UEDCL artwork & "Justice for Umeme" slogans is unknowingly – most likely, knowingly – working for foreign capital. You are selling your country. A new Uganda has to begin by Ugandans having their economy – including energy – back in their hands.

I agree, Intern doctors should be ranked above DEI Pharma, Atiak Sugar, Lubowa, and Inspire Coffee – which have and continue to consume billions. While those other are (unnecessary) promises for the future, intern doctors are presently real in the lives of ordinary Ugandans. As has been said plenty of times, it is not uncommon to find a public medical facility manned entirely by interns. Their labor cannot to be for free. In fact, interns is the language of exploitation. These are actual doctors – only new in the field. Thanks Dr Obuku (Ekwaro A. Obuku)

The only good thing in this bill is the title, "Protection of Sovereignty Bill." I also thought, finally, communism, nationalisation? Kumbe, waa. Politics. In these 13 glorious minutes, dr Dr. Bireete Sarah breaks down the absurdity of Kiryowa Kiwanuka's Bill. It is painful to imagine it passed their cabinet. Dear Marcella Karekye what type of country are we cobbling together (or apart?) Eh.

One more time: Unless you are a thief, no genuine business thrives in Uganda. How does one service a 40% interest loan? It is not just the racist, extortionist interest rates, but this absolute theft. M7's Bank of Uganda is absolutely complicit. Then M7 turns around and insults us mbu Ugandans are lazy. A carpenter, a cab driver, a school investor – ambition & frustration in one shot. Thanks, NTV UGANDA
