The ninth convoy of vehicles for our firefighters has left for Ukraine from Britain. This is much more than just the transfer of 21 fire trucks. It is about protecting Ukrainian cities and saving the lives of civilians and rescuers who are being attacked by the Russians. I would like to thank the United Kingdom – the government, the fire and rescue services across England and Wales, and all the partners of this initiative. I also want to mention the British charity FIRE AID and International Development, which has been helping the State Emergency Service of Ukraine since 2014. This is now the largest international rescue service support project ever implemented by UK. As part of it, Ukraine received 169 fire and rescue vehicles and over 250,000 units of equipment.

Сьогодні 11-та річниця героїчного виходу Збройних Сил України з Дебальцевого. Це була найбільша битва російсько-української війни до повномасштабного вторгнення. У тому районі боролися тисячі кращих наших бійців. Ці бої загартували українське військо і підготували до повномасштабної війни. За кілька днів до російського вторгнення, в лютому 2022 року, ми згадували Дебальцеве. Тоді я говорив про єдність навколо віри у нашу свободу, про впевненість у наших силах, готовність боротися за свою землю попри все. Дуже скоро ми це довели на полі бою. Але бої за Дебальцеве - не тільки про відвагу та боротьбу. Це ще й про урок. Урок про те, що поняття миру у війні дуже відносне. Мир без перемоги - це всього лише час, час який або дає шанс, або просто готує наступну війну. Саме зараз цей урок треба засвоїти, і не лише нам. Проте лише в наших руках наше майбутнє. Ми змогли відстояти свободу 11 років тому, вистояли у 2022 і продовжуємо боротися зараз. Нас поєднує і дає сили світла пам'ять про тих, хто поліг на цій війні. Завжди пам'ятаємо. Слава Україні! Слава Героям!

Together with the UK Defence Secretary, John Healey, attended a service on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion at the UGCC UK. All these years, Ukrainians have been bravely fighting for their freedom and their future, when at the beginning we were told that there was no chance. We survived because we are a brave people. We survived because we are united. Together with our British friends, we pay tribute to all the victims of this war and to all who gave their lives for our country.
