I think it’s absolutely preposterous how easily some women exaggerate and escalate situations without stopping to consider the consequences. They say women think with their emotions rather than reason, and moments like these are exactly why that stereotype persists. In the heat of the moment, everything feels justified. But a few hours later, when the emotions have settled, you often realize that much of what was said or done was unnecessary. The problem is that while emotions are temporary, the consequences of those reckless words and actions often aren’t. Some damage can’t simply be taken back. It’s sickening, to say the very least.
