These preachers depend on hate. Without spreading hate, their influence would not survive. A civilised society must act. In Sitakunda, Chattogram, Hindu youth Bijoy Debnath was brutally beaten by local NCP terrorists, handed over to the police, and falsely charged. His only so called crime was posting a birthday wish for me on his Instagram story. Since I am a non religious person, the Yunus government believes no one should post a birthday wish for me. Dr. Kushal Baran Chakraborty, Associate Professor at the University of Chittagong, was attacked today by an Islamist fundamentalist mob during his scheduled promotion evaluation. He had applied for promotion in either 2018 or 2021, but it was delayed due to administrative complications. Recently, the university finally approved the process and set the date for his oral examination. Today, Friday, was that day. The evaluation board had four members. One was a Hindu woman and the other three were Muslims. Everything was proceeding in an orderly manner when a coordinated Islamist extremist group suddenly intervened and violently disrupted the process. Why is mob violence part of an academic promotion exam in a public university?
