Jesse Watters CHALLENGES Abdul El-Sayed on ICE — Then Their Debate Explodes Over Wind Turbines in Lake Michigan Jesse Watters: You want to abolish ICE. Who’s going to deport criminal aliens? Abdul El-Sayed: Before ICE, we had INS. We enforced immigration laws without shooting people in the face and the back of the head. Jesse Watters: That’s a dodge. Do you know how many illegal immigrants are in the country now? Abdul El-Sayed: We had far fewer when we had INS. It worked better. Jesse Watters: We have twice as many now. You need the manpower. Abdul El-Sayed: We have ICE now and far more undocumented people, so clearly it isn’t working. Jesse Watters: What about the man from Southeast Asia who molested a child? ICE just picked him up. You want him to stay in Michigan? Abdul El-Sayed: I’m glad he was picked up. But that doesn’t prove INS couldn’t have done the same thing. You’re playing a bureaucratic game. Jesse Watters: That’s because Biden didn’t blow open the border back then. Abdul El-Sayed: When I travel across Michigan, people ask how they’ll afford gas and groceries. They’re not asking me about immigration. Jesse Watters: Let’s talk about the Green New Deal. Do you drive an electric car? Abdul El-Sayed: I drive an American-made plug-in hybrid. But the bigger issue is the trade war with Canada, which could make cars more expensive. Jesse Watters: You want to get rid of gas-powered cars. That’s what the Green New Deal says. Abdul El-Sayed: I’m not defending the Green New Deal. I’m asking if you oppose reducing energy costs and creating jobs in Michigan. Jesse Watters: I don’t want windmills in Lake Michigan. Abdul El-Sayed: We already have an oil pipeline in the Great Lakes. If it bursts, the consequences could be disastrous. You’d rather risk that than have wind turbines? Jesse Watters: Those windmills are Abdul El-Sayed: I’m not saying we should get rid of fossil fuels.

Jesse Watters Presses Abdul El-Sayed on Trans Athletes — The Senate Candidate Pushes Back Jesse Watters: Do you support sex changes for minors? Abdul El-Sayed: I remember having great conversations with my conservative friends about right-to-try legislation and the idea that the government shouldn’t tell you what kind of healthcare you should have. I just think the government shouldn’t make those decisions for you. Jesse Watters: So, Abdul, you’re a doctor, right? Abdul El-Sayed: I am. Jesse Watters: So you think it’s okay for a parent to cut off their child’s genitals? Do you really want to have this conversation? Are you circumcised? Abdul El-Sayed: Yeah, but that’s a personal question. You probably should want to move on. Is circumcision different from castration? Jesse Watters: I think it’s a problem that you believe the government shouldn’t get to decide what happens between a parent, a doctor, and a patient. Circumcision is surgery on a child, too. I think you’re being selective about how you talk about these things. Boys playing in girls’ sports. Michigan isn’t going for that. That is sick stuff. Abdul El-Sayed: I’m not advocating anything. I’m just saying, Jesse, you haven’t asked me once about the issues people actually care about in Michigan. You don’t want to talk about gas prices, groceries, healthcare, or this trade war that’s about to destroy Michigan jobs. Jesse Watters: We spent the whole interview talking about those things. You don’t seem to want to talk about any of them. You want to bring up all this culture-war stuff. I’m not here to fight a culture war. I’m here to fight for healthcare. Abdul El-Sayed: We talked about the war, gas prices, and the Green New Deal. You told me we were going to have a conversation, but now you’re doing the greatest hits. You can keep doing that if you want, but I just want to understand what you’re getting at. Jesse Watters: I’m getting at whether you think men should play in women’s sports as the next U.S. senator from Michigan. Abdul El-Sayed: I’m interested in getting money out of politics, putting money in your pocket, and passing Medicare for All. Jesse Watters: You’re filibustering, Abdul, because you don’t care about what sports kids play. It’s a big issue, and I want to talk about the issues your viewers deserve to hear about. Should men play women’s sports? You have daughters, right? Abdul El-Sayed: I played sports my whole life. Sports were an important part of my life, and I’m grateful for the opportunity. At the end of the day, the decision about who gets to play which sports ought to be made by the people who govern sports. I’m running for the U.S. Senate, Jesse. I’m trying to take on the healthcare crisis and Big Pharma, and you’re asking me who gets to play which sports? It’s silly. People can’t seriously say this is the most important issue. Jesse Watters: It’s kind of a big thing.

Jesse Watters Presses Abdul El-Sayed on His $4 Trillion Healthcare Plan — The Debate Gets Heated Jesse Watters: You want socialized healthcare. Abdul, how much is that going to cost? Abdul El-Sayed: It’s going to cost the average Michigander a whole lot less than they pay right now. But let me remind you, the guy who voted to raise prescription drug prices 19 times, 19 times, is now asking about healthcare costs. I’m saying I want to bring your costs down. The price of this program would be substantially less for everyday people who can’t afford healthcare and are worried about losing their coverage when they lose their jobs. Jesse Watters: Give me the total number. Abdul El-Sayed: While you’re talking about the broader national budget, I’m more interested in the everyday budgets Michiganders are dealing with. That’s exactly the budget Donald Trump and Mike Rogers are blowing up right now. I don’t understand why you’re on the side of billionaires, Jesse, rather than everyday Michiganders. Jesse Watters: No, because I don’t want you guys to blow the country up. Do you know how much the federal budget is right now? Abdul El-Sayed: Neither do I. But if you want to talk about budgets, let’s talk about them. Someone who used to work on your channel, one of the hosts on The Five, wanted to raise the military budget to $1.5 trillion, and you don’t seem upset about that. What, so we can fight a war we don’t know how to get out of, while gas prices rise to $5 a gallon? That doesn’t make sense to me, Jesse. I want to talk about the things that actually matter to people. To me, that’s healthcare and childcare. Jesse Watters: I have a feeling you don’t even know how much money the government spends every year. Do you? Abdul El-Sayed: The question, Jesse, is that I know what Michiganders are dealing with. Jesse Watters: All right, so you don’t know. Let me tell you what it is: $7 trillion a year. And your plan to take over the healthcare system costs $4 trillion. Here’s the problem with that. To your point, I’m not very good at math, and I don’t think you’re very good at math either. Abdul El-Sayed: Clearly, you don’t seem to care about the numbers either. I don’t think most Americans want to spend that much money on military escapades while the people stranded on the USS Abraham Lincoln can’t even get a sausage for breakfast. I think we could do a lot better with our money, Jesse. That’s where you and I disagree. Jesse Watters: Mike Rogers disagrees with you. I think if you spend $4 trillion, everything else is going to get really expensive. You’ll look back at Bidenflation and wish you were back there. But you brought up foreign policy— Abdul El-Sayed: We can talk about inflation. Everywhere I go in Michigan, people tell me they’ve never had to worry so much about life being unaffordable. I get it. Donald Trump likes to blame everything on his predecessor. But let’s be clear: this is Donald Trump’s economy, and he’s about to make things much worse because he’s engaged in a vanity war with the prime minister of Canada. I’m from Michigan, and you’re from New York, so you know Canadians. They’re the only people I know who apologize before they’ve even done anything! Now they’re raising tariffs to 50 percent. What’s that going to do to inflation? Jesse Watters: Yeah, what is spending $4 trillion going to do? I think it’s going to make things a lot worse. But you brought up the war. Are you glad the Ayatollah is dead?

Michael Knowles Calls Homosexuality “Deviant” — Then the Gay Activist Accuses Him of Being Closeted Gay Activist: Why is it not okay for men to marry men or women to marry women? Michael Knowles: Because marriage is, by its nature, the union between a man and a woman for the purpose of creation. Gay Activist: According to the Bible? Michael Knowles: No, according to nature. Gay Activist: But you’ve seen that there are gay animals in nature, right? Michael Knowles: Yeah, that’s not marriage. They’re not married. Gay Activist: But is having sex with other men and loving them a natural thing? Michael Knowles: I think there are all sorts of weird deviancies and aberrations that come out. Gay Activist: If it’s natural, why is it deviant? Michael Knowles: We mean “natural” in two different ways. Some things happen in nature, but that doesn’t necessarily make them good for human beings. Marriage is a natural institution, and I’m saying it’s contrary to natural law. Piers Morgan: Do you think he’s a deviant for being gay? Michael Knowles: Yeah, a bit deviant, yeah. Gay Activist: People who are homophobic are always closeted gay men afraid of their own feelings. The research says it. Piers Morgan: Are you being sent to gay therapy? Gay Activist: I’ve never been to any therapy because it works on me. That’s why I’m gay. Michael Knowles: What’s amazing about that response is that if you express the traditional Christian, Jewish, or Muslim view of homosexuality, the first thing some pro-LGBT activists do is accuse you of secretly being gay. I wasn’t even using it as an insult you’re the one using it as an insult. Gay Activist: I said that because you called me a deviant. You’re afraid of gay people, and the only reason for that would be that you’re secretly gay. Michael Knowles: Christians, Jews, and Muslims believe the Bible is God’s word, inspired by the men who wrote it. Gay Activist: But why are the men who wrote that book correct, and the other books that weren’t included incorrect? Michael Knowles: What other books? Gay Activist: I want you to read The Queer Thing About Sin. It dives into this quite deeply. Piers Morgan: Have a Pride Day, but why a whole month? Gay Activist: We have Pride events all over the world. I think it’s an important month because it shows people that we’re okay, we’re allowed to exist, and the world supports us.

Piers Morgan Challenges a Non-Binary Guest to Explain Their Identity — The Debate Takes an Awkward Turn Piers Morgan: I just want to ask, what do you mean by non-binary? Non-Binary Guest: When I say I’m non-binary, I’m expressing my identity in a way that I have the right to do. Piers Morgan: What are your pronouns? Non-Binary Guest: They/them. Piers Morgan: What does that mean? The collective “they” has been used to refer to individual people for centuries. Non-Binary Guest: I honestly don’t understand the concept of what non-binary means, or why you would use a plural pronoun to describe a single person. Piers Morgan: If you don’t understand what non-binary means, I’m not sure you’re in a position to lead a debate. Non-Binary Guest: Then tell me. Tell me. Piers Morgan: If you can’t explain it in simple language, what’s the point? Non-Binary Guest: My gender identity is something other than man or woman. I’m a non-binary individual. Piers Morgan: But you accept you’re a female? Non-Binary Guest: I don’t think I’m here to discuss the contents of my underpants. I don’t think that’s appropriate. Piers Morgan: You said, “I’m trans.” Non-Binary Guest: This has really become uncomfortably personal. If you think this is uncomfortable, try undressing in a locker room with a 6-foot-4 naked man. Piers Morgan: Right. Exactly. That’s the point of this. It’s like, what is uncomfortable? Other Guest: I’m having a conversation here, and I’m slightly offended because no one asked me my pronouns. Piers Morgan: Exactly. I think we should get rid of all pronouns. I think they’re ridiculous.

James Barr HUMILIATES Michael Knowles in a Heated Debate Over Pride Month and Gay Relationships Piers Morgan: Would you mind if we had a straight day? James Barr: No, I wouldn’t mind at all. Michael Knowles: What if we had a straight year? James Barr: You do have a straight year. Piers Morgan: If I went out and had lots of flags celebrating straight people— Michael Knowles: I’m fine with that. James Barr: They actually tried that in the US, and nobody showed up. It bombed. Michael Knowles: My problem with Pride Month is that pride is supposedly one of the greatest sins. Why do we need a special word for it when we could just accept that people live differently? James Barr: Why are you calling it deviant or abhorrent? Why are you sexualising love so much? Michael Knowles: Because gay relationships involve sex. The natural purpose of sex is between a man and a woman, which produces children. James Barr: But Pride isn’t about sex. It’s about love. We’re not saying everyone is having sex with each other. Michael Knowles: Have you seen Pride parades? There’s leather, spanking, and all sorts of things on display. James Barr: Straight people do those things too! Michael Knowles: We don’t have parades like that. James Barr: Really? What kind of pornography do you watch, then? What are your kinks? Michael Knowles: I don’t watch pornography. James Barr: Never? Not even in college? Michael Knowles: I might have seen a naked woman once or twice, but I don’t watch pornography. James Barr: If you’re going to sexualise my community, I’m going to give it back to you! Michael Knowles: The reason we call it deviant is that everything has a natural purpose. The eye is for seeing, a glass is for drinking, and sex is for relations between men and women that create children. James Barr: Then why do men have a G-spot? Men have been having sex with men since ancient Rome! Michael Knowles: I just want to clarify for the audience that I do not have a G-spot. James Barr: You do! You and your wife should enjoy it! Piers Morgan: Let me conclude by saying I have no problem with who you have sex with. You can have sex with whoever you want. James Barr: It’s not about sex! It’s about who you love. You keep bringing it back to sex. Piers Morgan: Whoever you love or want to marry, you have my support for the same rights I enjoy. I firmly believe that. Michael Knowles: I completely disagree with that. I believe in your right to marry, Piers. I want you to have every right I have which is the right to marry a woman.

Enes Kanter Freedom Declares for the WNBA Draft to Challenge Its Transgender Athlete Rules — Piers Morgan Reacts Piers Morgan: I laughed out loud at the spectacle of female basketball stars haranguing you for wearing a shirt saying what a woman is. To me, it epitomised the farce around transgender women competing in women’s sport. What motivated you to get involved in such a toxic debate? Enes Kanter Freedom: I watch a lot of WNBA games. One player, Gabby Williams, said she had no problem with trans athletes playing on her team or against her. Then other players, coaches, and the league itself expressed similar views. I thought, “Enough is enough. If you have no problem with it, I’m declaring for the draft.” I read their collective bargaining agreement first. Article 13, Section 1A says that if you identify as a woman, you’re allowed to play. So I declared for the draft, and now the whole world is mad at me. Piers Morgan: They’re not respecting your right to identify as a woman, even though they demand that anybody else who does so must be respected. The UN reportedly found that nearly 1,000 women and girls across different levels of sport had lost medals to transgender athletes. Biological differences are why we separate men and women in sport. I also don’t understand why Megan Rapinoe attacked you as a grifter for supposedly protecting women when, in my view, you’re defending their rights to fairness and equality. Enes Kanter Freedom: I’m probably the tallest women’s rights activist in the world right now! This isn’t a left-wing or right-wing issue. It’s common sense, and I’m following their rules. If the WNBA adds the word “biological” before “woman” in its collective bargaining agreement, I’ll walk away, and they’ll never hear from me again. But if they don’t change the rules, I’m eligible to play because I can identify as a woman and compete in their league. All these coaches and players have been cheering for this, but now a man wants to identify as a woman, and suddenly he’s getting hate. Who are they to judge whose journey is real or not? I want to play basketball. If they introduce a rule against it, I’ll follow it immediately.

Piers Morgan Challenges Mosab Hassan After He Claims the Problem Is Islam, Not Muslims Piers Morgan: There are 2 billion Muslims in the world and 15 million Jews. People keep telling me that a lot of Muslims share the views of Islamists. But if even 10% felt that way, that would be 200 million people, and we’d see atrocities happening all the time. We don’t. I’d go further and say that 80 to 90% of the victims of Islamist terrorism are fellow Muslims. So it’s not as straightforward as some people with their own agendas portray it. Mosab Hassan: My father wanted me to follow in his footsteps and become a Hamas terrorist. But I went against my family’s wishes. I was born a Muslim. I studied Islam and classical Arabic, memorized huge portions of the Quran, prayed five times a day, attended a Sharia school, and studied Islamic law. At some point, I realized it was a dead end, leading to more violence, and I had to abandon that Islamic identity. The problem isn’t Muslims, the problem is Islam itself, with jihad being a unique concept to Islam. You don’t find it in Christianity or Buddhism. Piers Morgan: But we’re right—let me say Mosab Hassan: Please, let me finish. The vast majority of Muslims are peaceful people who don’t want violence. That’s human nature. But when Muslims identify with Islam, they give cover to jihadists, and in many cases, they identify with something they completely oppose. That’s the identity crisis within Islam.

Martha MacCallum Presses Abdul El-Sayed on the Iran War and Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designations Martha MacCallum: When you say we need to understand the people who commit terrorist attacks and what causes them, it almost sounds like you’re suggesting that, somehow, these terrible acts are our fault. Abdul El-Sayed: No. The victim is never at fault. Terrorism is wrong, no matter who commits it or who it’s committed against. But we have to ask ourselves: when we engage with the world, are we creating a safer world or a less safe one? Does more war actually make us safer? Martha MacCallum: Iran created a huge threat to the region. They killed thousands of Americans. Abdul El-Sayed: The nuclear threat had been contained under the Obama administration. Then Donald Trump tore up that agreement and, in his second administration, created a war that people in Michigan are now paying for through higher grocery bills, gas prices, and taxes. Martha MacCallum: The agreement was being violated by Iran, according to many estimates. Abdul El-Sayed: Estimates people cherry-pick. We could have chosen peace, but instead we chose war. Now, the Strait of Hormuz is disrupted, energy prices have risen, and people don’t know what they’ll pay tomorrow. More war has made us less safe. Martha MacCallum: That’s not entirely true. Reports suggest oil flows through the Strait are approaching pre-war levels, and prices could begin to come down. Abdul El-Sayed: Then why are gas prices still so high? That’s not what people in Michigan are experiencing. And it’s not just gas prices. It’s grocery prices, the 18 service members who lost their lives, and service members deployed at sea without the resources or rations they needed. Martha MacCallum: Our service members are heroes, and they’re protecting us from threats. Let me ask you about the Muslim Brotherhood. If you become a US senator, will you support the terrorist designations of its branches in Lebanon, Egypt, and Jordan? Abdul El-Sayed: I support designating any organisation as terrorist if it’s engaged in political violence. Martha MacCallum: The Egyptian chapter called for violent attacks against the United States and its partners after October 7. The Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood supported Hamas and threatened Americans in the region. Do you stand by those designations? Abdul El-Sayed: As I’ve said, any organisation engaged in or calling for political violence is engaging in terrorism, and I would support those designations. But there’s an argument you often make that the best way to address this problem is simply more war.

Piers Morgan CLASHES With Ava Santina Over a Child Identifying as a Cat — Then Brings Up Women’s Sports and Prison Safety Douglas Murray: This is the result of a very stupid ideology being rolled out by very stupid people. The fight for gay rights was about saying, “We’re just like the rest of you. We want to live and let live.” But gender ideologues have taken a different approach. They’ve said biological reality doesn’t exist, and everyone else has to agree with them. Piers Morgan: Ava, you’re laughing. Why? Ava Santina: We’re talking about children who are 12 or 13. When I was at school, I knew a girl who identified as a horse. She didn’t actually think she was a horse. She was just going through a phase. Piers Morgan: But nobody’s teachers would have tolerated that in the way this is now being tolerated. Ava Santina: No teacher would have tolerated bullying of that child. That’s what this teacher was trying to prevent. Piers Morgan: He’s interfering with lessons by speaking in cat language and insisting everybody conform to his identity. That is mad. Ava Santina: That’s not what’s happening. It’s a child who’s more imaginative than their peers. Why make it about trans people? Piers Morgan: When biological males compete in women’s sports, enter women’s changing rooms, or when a male rapist identifies as a woman and is sent to a women’s prison, that’s why this debate is happening. Ava Santina: There is no similarity between a child wanting to be a cat and someone competing in the Olympics. Piers Morgan: I don’t think the trans community is helped by any of this. When activists become more aggressive and fight over issues like women’s sport, they’re losing people and piling mockery onto the trans community.

Piers Morgan Challenges a Guest on Transgender Issues: “How Many Genders Are There?” — Her Answer Leaves Him Stunned Angelica Malin: I don’t know why you’re obsessed with defining it. What is a man? Why do we need these arbitrary Piers Morgan: A man is a male adult human, and that’s it. Angelica Malin: These are just biological facts, but they’re not arguable points, are they? Piers Morgan: You say we have a right to self-identify. If you’d like to be a woman, you can identify as a woman. I don’t know why there is such an issue around— We’ve literally just seen a male rapist use that scam to get himself put into a female prison where he could attack vulnerable women inside a female prison. Angelica Malin: Which is a terrible, very distressing, isolated incident. I think it’s easy to take that and say that means no one can identify as a woman. Esther Krakue: But it’s 42% of trans-identifying prisoners in prison are in there for sex crimes. There’s actually an advantage evidently to identifying as a female. Piers Morgan: Is it limitless, this self-identity? Angelica Malin: It’s not totally limitless. But when you’re talking about International Women’s Day, I don’t know why we take the conversation and make it about this. Piers Morgan: But if anyone can identify as a woman, anyone can, right? Angelica Malin: I don’t see a problem with it. Piers Morgan: So why can’t I identify as a black lesbian? If I can identify as anything without any need to prove I’m actually what that is, why can’t I say, “I’m Piers Morgan, I’m a black lesbian”? Angelica Malin: I think you’re taking it to an absurd status. Piers Morgan: You’ve already opened the absurdity door by saying it’s limitless. Anyone can say, “I’m a woman.” So I simply ask you, why can’t I? Angelica Malin: I don’t think you have to say it’s post-op as the only way someone’s allowed to identify. Esther Krakue: The original standard for being transgender was being diagnosed with gender dysphoria. Now it’s, “However you feel.” If you feel on Tuesday you’re a woman and on Thursday you’re a pizza, that’s perfectly valid. We should be talking about actual women on International Women’s Day. Angelica Malin: I mean, I agree. But what your idea of an actual woman— Esther Krakue: The chromosomes. An adult female. It’s not difficult. Angelica Malin: I don’t think you have to be biologically female to identify. Esther Krakue: Then you are wrong, because then I can identify as a fox. Piers Morgan: Well, let me ask you this, Angelica: how many genders are there? Angelica Malin: Two. Piers Morgan: There are two genders? Angelica Malin: Well— Piers Morgan: Wow. So you don’t believe in transgender people at all? You’ve literally just launched this huge defense of transgenderism, now you’ve eradicated it.

Sister Nancy CONFRONTS JD Vance Over ICE’s Treatment of Immigrant Families — His Response Sparks Pushback Speaker: We have a voter here tonight, Sister Nancy Sylvester, from the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Sister Nancy, she has a question for you. Sister Nancy Sylvester: Mr. Vice President, our sisters work at the southern border and here around Detroit. They see families affected by immigration policies and children separated from their parents, sometimes without warning. They witness the fear and trauma caused by ICE’s actions. We understand this is a complex issue, but what pains us is how these policies are being implemented. We share the same faith, so how would you justify ICE’s behaviour to people who try to follow the Gospel? And what policies would you support to ensure immigrants are treated with greater compassion and respect? JD Vance: Sister Nancy, I appreciate you, and I hope I’ll be in your prayers, as you’ll certainly be in mine. We’re trying to strike the right balance. When approximately 25 million undocumented immigrants have entered the country over the past 30 years, many unchecked and unvetted, we have to enforce the law humanely without doing so little that we empower some of the worst people in the world. Speaker: Are you striking that balance? JD Vance: I think it’s constantly a work in progress. We’ve increased training protocols because, while most ICE officers are good people who want to protect their country, some make mistakes. When they do, we have a responsibility to investigate and prosecute where appropriate. Speaker: What mistakes come to mind? We’ve all seen incidents online, but I haven’t heard you speak about the biggest mistakes in ICE policy and its rollout. JD Vance: There have been cases where we’ve conducted investigations, provided additional training, or taken disciplinary action. We don’t always publicise those cases because people should be judged through a proper investigative process. But we also have to remember what happened over the last five years, including drug cartels trafficking children and the fentanyl trade that killed so many people in Michigan. We wake up every day trying to balance law enforcement with humane enforcement. ICE won’t get everything right, but I believe its officers have, by and large, done a good job. Where people have made serious mistakes, they should face consequences.

Piers Morgan Says Democrats Lost Voters Over Trans Issues — Marc Lamont Hill Turns the Argument Back on Them Piers Morgan: If you asked AOC what a woman is, we all know she’d struggle to answer, right? Marc Lamont Hill: The only struggle would be arriving at a common definition between her and transphobic people who refuse to accept trans people as people and trans women as women. Piers Morgan: This is where you’re so wrong. The ad attacking Kamala Harris over trans issues reportedly moved the needle by three points. If you’re a mum with kids in women’s sports, you care about this. You want a candidate who can clearly tell you what a woman is. I’m not remotely transphobic. Trans people deserve fairness, equality and safety. But not at the expense of women’s rights. That’s why the definition of a woman is so important. Marc Lamont Hill: We’re not struggling to define what a woman is. You just don’t agree with us. Trans women are women, cis women are women. There are different experiences and contexts, and we have to be honest about that when making public policy. The problem was that Kamala Harris allowed the right wing to control the narrative, making it seem like trans issues were all Democrats cared about instead of workers’ rights, living wages and other major issues. And turning women’s sports into a story about trans people destroying women’s rights is dishonest. There are plenty of people undermining women’s rights right now, and it isn’t trans people. Allowing the right to convince voters that this was the big issue in the election is why the Democrats lost.

Mehdi Hassan Grills Nancy Mace Over Her Claim About Muslims in Office — “You Said EVERY Single Muslim!” Piers Morgan: You said every single Muslim holding public office in America is a Trojan horse. Dr. Oz holds public office. Would you want him deported as a threat to national security? Nancy Mace: I didn’t say Dr. Oz should be deported. I was talking about elected officials being Trojan horses because we’re seeing towns being taken over. Piers Morgan: You didn’t say every single radical Muslim. You said every single Muslim. That’s 1.6 billion people around the world. Do you stand by that? Nancy Mace: No, I said elected officials! Piers Morgan: You said every single Muslim holding public office is a Trojan horse and a threat to our republic. You stand by that? Nancy Mace: Holding public office is an elected position, Mehdi. Do you need a dictionary? Piers Morgan: Oh, so cabinet members aren’t public officials? Is Marco Rubio not a public official? Mehdi Hasan: You just lied again! You said every public official is elected. Marco Rubio is a public official. Don’t walk it back. Everyone can see your bigotry! Five years ago, Nancy Mace went on CNN and called out colleagues who made similar comments about Ilhan Omar. She said they were racist and religious bigots. Now she’s making these arguments herself. Piers Morgan: Please stop talking over each other. Nancy, respond to what Mehdi just said. Nancy Mace: I was defending someone’s First Amendment right to wear whatever clothing they want. But five years later, we’re seeing radical things happening in our communities. We’re seeing animal sacrifices in Michigan, the mayor of New York City giving a pen to a man who defended Al-Qaeda, and the governor of New York wearing a hijab while speaking to men in a mosque days before the 25th anniversary of 9/11. I find this offensive, and I’m going to continue speaking out. We have to push back against what’s happening in towns across the country. Piers Morgan: Mehdi, your response? Mehdi Hasan: It’s interesting she talks about Sharia law. There’s no Sharia law. It’s a bogeyman Republicans tried 15 years ago, and now they’re doing it again. Why? Because gas prices are high, nobody trusts them, they’re losing in the polls, and they’re going to lose the midterms. So they fall back on racism, bigotry, and Sharia law.

Piers Morgan Challenges Jonathan Over His Claim That 38,000 Palestinian Civilians Were Killed in Gaza — Then Accuses Him of Lying About October 7 Piers Morgan: If the Gaza Health Ministry numbers are wrong, how many people have been killed? Jonathan: Based on information I’ve corroborated from Israeli sources, Hamas sources, and open-source intelligence, the IDF assesses Piers Morgan: Oh, you’re gathering information from Hamas sources? You do trust them after all. Jonathan: When they issue obituaries and pay stipends to widows, I’ll take that into account. The same applies when Hamas holds a military funeral for someone who otherwise Piers Morgan: According to you, Jonathan, how many people have been killed in Gaza since the war started? Jonathan: Based on the different sources and their corroboration, around 38,000 to 39,000 people were probably uninvolved and not combatants. That’s my understanding, based on insufficient intelligence. Piers Morgan: And at least 25,000 terrorists, where the IDF has a high level of certainty. So your figure is about 63,000 in total, roughly 12,000 fewer than the official Gaza Health Ministry figures. Jonathan: You’re not factoring in natural deaths or deaths caused by Hamas. Piers Morgan: Let’s take your figure. You say 38,000 civilians have been killed. How many civilians were killed on October 7? Jonathan: Almost 1,300, but I think Piers Morgan: They weren’t all civilians, were they? Jonathan: There were several Piers Morgan: That’s a lie! Stop lying, Jonathan! Jonathan: You’re making a totally irrelevant comparison. Piers Morgan: I’m making a direct comparison. Based on your own figures, 38,000 civilians have been killed in Gaza. Of the 1,200 people killed on October 7, it has been reported that 400 were military personnel and 800 were civilians. That means 38,000 civilians in Gaza have been killed in response to the murder of 800 civilians. That’s why many people view the IDF’s response as disproportionate, even by your own figures. Jonathan: Absolute nonsense, Piers. It’s still 40 times as many civilians. And there’s a basic reason: Where was the IDF fighting? Where was Hamas hiding? Who were they using as human shields?
