This is the man some b@s+ard ch!Idr3n of Nigeria are comparing to a common Whistle of a kid?? "In Africa, they tell us politics is a game. For we youths, it's not a game it's a reality of our lives " ~Fela Kuti Unfortunately, today's Nigerian youths will say politics is a game, and hail the likes of Tinubu as a political guru.

#KidnappingInNigeria should be trending by now. Tinubu has appeared to be leading a government of kidnappers, by kidnappers for kidnappers.😢 "It is a mistake keeping Nnamdi Kanu in Prison, in fact kidnapping him"... - Professor Wole Soyinka. #FreeNnamdiKanuNow #FreeSowore

So when are we going to prosecute Tinubu for threatening national security when he said Jonathan was a drunkard? Was he prosecuted when he said Obasanjo was a rotten fish when he was the president? This is the period we must start questioning the mental stability of these guys in our security services. ~Comrade Omoyele Sowore

If Nigerians could have ended the Kuti legacy, despite all that lineage has sacrificed for Nigerians and Nigeria, they would have. The Anikulapo-Kutis committed what is known as class suicide; abandoning elite comfort to confront power on behalf of the oppressed of Africa and Nigeria in particular. That lineage is a rare example of this act in any society in this 21st century. From their grandmother, Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, to Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Uncle Beko, Wole Soyinka, etc., and now their offspring. Your government tried; they could not end their legacy. Your parents tried; they could not silence their voices. You would rather call Fela a prophet instead of a visionary, because this is how we were indoctrinated not to know the difference. How is Nigeria today? How are Nigerians faring today? Let’s be real for once, all you gaslighting children of a “supposed-to-be great nation.” Ask yourselves who has been wrong all along: the Anikulapo-Kutis, or your government and your parents? Where do you stand today? Are you with the people or the beast if no nation? ~OIA✊🏼

To all Muslims in Nigeria, take time to reflect and learn from the unfortunate events at AFCON ’26, especially the match between the host nation Morocco 🇲🇦 and Senegal 🇸🇳. Both are predominantly Muslim countries, with over 97% of their populations identifying as Muslim. What may interest you is ther collective histories. The then king of Senegal (the King of Tekrur) was introduced to Islam by the Arabs, the ancestors of present-day Moroccans. He adopted Islam and initially introduced it to his people peacefully, but later enforced it through jihad warfare. Fast forward to today: Senegal is about 97% Muslim. Considering this history, one would expect Moroccans to treat Senegalese with respect, given that Senegal was successfully Islamized centuries ago and even carried out jihad on behalf of Arab merchants. But, as I have always said, no matter how hard we try as Africans, we cannot gain true respect anywhere in the world by clinging to the very regions and identities that were used to colonize us. You cannot be more Islamic than the Arabs, neither can you be more Christian than the Christiandom who brought this foreign religion to your doorstep. Despite Senegal being a Muslim country, and despite having fought jihad on behalf of Arabs, the Senegalese were still allegedly referred to as “monkeys” during AFCON by Moroccans. They were attacked and assaulted. Yet, the spirit of Africa, the God of Alkebulan, not Allah, granted victory to the best player at the end of the match. Do not get me wrong. I am not asking anyone to abandon his or her beliefs or religion. I am only urging us to begin to see and act beyond religion by putting humanity first and embracing our cultural values as African people. ~OIA✊🏼
